Version 3.0 7/29/88 --------------------- CleanDrives: Copyright 1988 Mark Hellman This program will run the drive motor and step the heads from Cylinder 0 to 79. This will increase the life and effectiveness of your head cleaning disk. Sorry about the klunky way it works, this was my first Amiga programing effort. Version 3.05 9/14/88 --------------------- Fixed problems with messages flashing too fast to be seen Changed gadgets so they are disabled while processing Added 'BadDemo.arc' file this is the latest demo, see the Read.Me file in the Arc file for more info If you are using the FFS and would like v3.1 (Same as 3.05 + FFS support) Let us know when updating! v3.1 is available on request ONLY! (At least until CA gets their act together) Version 3.1- 10/13/88 ---------------------- FFS Support Added Version 3.11- 1/8/89 --------------------- Fixed Problem encountered with GVP Hard disks Included WBFix v1.0- This program will corrects the VOLUME .info file for a FFS partition. 2/20/89 - Added BootNoFast - Enables 1 Meg A500 & A2000 users to process upto a 21 Meg Partition. Version 3.15- 5/26/89 --------------------- Removed ChangeNum, DiskState, and ProtStatus calls when processing Harddisks. This should fix problems with incomplete drivers. However, We disable Validation and when Validation is re-enabled DOS sends DiskState and ProtStatus commands before calling the disk validator, this may be why some drives Lock-Up or even GURU at the end of processing??? We added an Update call and a delay just before re-enabling Validation, so the disk structure will be correct even if the Amiga locks, just reboot, when the drive is mounted the Validator will correct the bit-map on the drive. We also improved some of the longer loops and shrunk the code a little, this should help to shorten processing times. Added My version of addmem, It's a little big at this point but it adds the memory correctly for v1.3. Sorry I'm unable to test it with v1.2 but I'm sure it will work just fine. Some users have reported that B.A.D. GURUs if two Identical disk are inserted into the drives. *** This problem is caused by DOS NOT B.A.D. !!! *** Your Amiga will GURU ANYTIME two identical disks are inserted. Please let me know if you still have problems! Contrary to the disclaimer, we are here to help, (This is the third FREE UPDATE we have done because of inconsistencies and non-compliance by the programers who are writting the device drivers that we all depend on!) However, due to the nature of the program we cannot be held responsible for lost data because someone didn't bother to back-up their hard disk. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Effective 1/1/89 Price: $49.95 ______________________________ / Dealers and Distributers / ==============================/ / Please Call: / Send $$$ to: Centaur Software 213/821-5995/ (DEALERS & DISTRIBUTERS ONLY!)/ Mark Hellman ==============================/ P.O.
