BootNoFast A Little Ditty from the creators of B.A.D. Released: 2/20/89 This program is placed in the Public Domain by Mark Hellman. The ARC file my be freely distributed provided the original contents are unmodified. Use This Software at your own risk! Purpose: Disables Auto-Config of memory @ $C00000 forcing all system libraries, structures, and variables into Chip ram or other Auto-Config ram boards. Increased compatibility with software written for v1.1 Enables 1 Meg A500 and A2000 B.A.D. users to process up to a 21 Meg partition ( I HOPE! ). Usage: Copy the program to a directory in your current path. From a CLI type: BootNoFast A small window will open stating that it is installed. After the window closes warm boot your machine. Run B.A.D. After B.A.D. is running, from a CLI type: AddMem c00000 c7ffff You Should now have a completly free 512K chunk of memory. Notes: For v1.1 compatability do not AddMem the memory back in. The memory will NOT Auto-Config again until either EXEC base gets corrupted or you power down your machine! Sorry about the short docs, this is not one of my strong points. Please forgive any spelling/grammer errors Happy Blitzing, Mark Hellman P.S. THANKS for all the GREAT comments and support on your B.A.D. Reg. Cards!!!
