I first heard Bach's Sinfonia to Cantata No. 29 on the album
"Switched On Bach" by W.Carlos and fell in love with the piece. 
This transcription of  was done in 8 voices with the intention of it being 
performed on MIDI instruments due to the severe limitations of the available 
instruments for DMCS. This piece has a rather wide tonal range which exceeds 
the range of the majority of the stock instruments that come with DMCS.
	Realizing that most owners of DMCS don't own or have access to MIDI
instruments, I arranged the first four voices to be performed with the voices
available on the Amiga and still give the listener the main impression of the
Sinfonia. I've had the best success with the following voice/instrument
combinations:
			Voice/Staff		Instrument
			    1			Phase Synth
			    2			Electric Bass
			    3			Clarinet or Trumpet
			    4			AhhVoice or Flute

	These instruments are passable, but pale when compared to a MIDI
performance.

	A MIDI instrument that I've found to be ideal for use with DMCS is
the Yamaha FB-01 FM sound generator (no, I don't work for Yamaha). The FB-01
is a MIDI device that is much like an 8-voice synthesizer without a keyboard.
It has 8 individually controlable voices with 240 preset instrument voices.
The 8 voices can be assigned separate MIDI channels or can be grouped in
any configuration for poly-timbral voicing. The FB-01 is pretty small for all
the noise it can make: approx. 11 in. L X 9 in. W X 2 in. H. The suggested
retail price is $350.00, but can be found discounted like everything else.
	The voices I use on the FB-01 for the Sinfonia are:

	I've tried to produce a very accurate rendition of the Sinfonia, as it
is my favourite piece of classical music. I've come across so many pieces of
good music that were so poorly entered into DMCS that you can't stand to listen
to them. Hopefully my rendition of the Sinfonia won't classed among them.
