HyperANSI 2.0 February 27, 1993 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have started planning how a version 2.0 of this program should operate. If the user response to version 1.0 is good, then I will likely begin seriously working on an updated version. This is a list of planned features for the program; Version 2.0 spec's ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - conform to the RKM Style guide. - ARexx & ARexx Macros. - 2.04+ only feaures. - Improved interface with faster update speeds. - Function Toolbar (ala Digipaint). see prototype Hyper20.iff picture. - Support different resolutions (NTSC 80*50, PAL 80*32 & PAL 80*64). - Background mode - use no screens or windows, operate solely by the use of Arexx (could be useful for BBS'S) - Color ANSI/ASCII font support (the big multi-character kind) complete with a utility to create or edit them. - User selectable font (the Amiga kind) - ANSI/ASCII output more configurable. - 100% support for Amiga specific ANSI codes, as well as all the IBM codes (blinking, bold, Italics etc..) - BBS specific ANSI codes, via a scrolling list of plain ENGLISH codes which will insert the cryptic codes that the BBS programmers used. - AGA support When (and if) the new version is completed, all users registered for version 1.0 will get the program free of charge. Although I do not make any promises of when it will be released (or if it even if it will be). If you want a program like that, register and tell me you want it! - Mike
