This version contains several fixes and improvements: From V2.0b: · Colour printing code is now disabled (it caused lots of wierd things like characters disappearing). Until I can get some detailed help on printer codes, I'm afraid colour printouts are out. · ReplyMsg problems. Caused slight memory loss and/or memory corruption. · View Macro. Didn't close the file after viewing. · Misc safety checks added to many core routines. · Negative numbers in graphs wouldn't display properly. · Graphs screen is no longer interleaved. · 3D Pie charts had to be changed, because they were hopeless. · Amiga-V key was overused. · File format was not saving values in string and formula cells. To fix old files - just load then save, then load again. · Block copying left the block marked. · A line was left when scrolling left. · Misc improvements to the documentation, although I would be the first to admit it needs a lot more doing to it. · Online calculator added. · Cell conversion options added. · Code optimisations, especially the loading and recalc code. · Bug fixes to all the above new stuff ;-> · New show formulas feature. From V2.0c: · Toolbar editor. Now has over thirty icons. Older ones redesigned, and new ones added. You can completely customise the appearance of the icon bar now. · Some minor bug fixes. · Major bug -- Set Precision went wierd -- now fixed. · Fixed problem that caused worksheets to need recalculating after loading. · EasyCalc 2.0 can now scroll a much larger screen on the DClip. · Printouts can now be aborted. · Fixed graph bug which caused last few lines to be missed when printing. · New conversion functions added for inchs to feet, kilos to pounds etc. · Cell address/range pasting, just like EasyCalc Plus has been added. · Bug - did not recalc after deleting -- fixed. · Bug - toolbar editor got confused -- fixed. · Bug - importing an EasyCalc Plus file caused the cells to be invisible. This was caused by the opimisations in V2.0b. From V2.0c(2): · Major new feature added, row and column locking. · Also options menu was split into two. · Other misc optimisations and minor fixes (not bugs). · Added Optimisation menu option to speed up cell list. From V2.0c(3) and V2.0c(4) · Rewrote the printer code and added a requester and a preferences file. · Added GETLOCK ARexx command, somehow got missed out. · Other misc fixes and improvements. · Added RUNMACRO function. · Added shifted block selection. · Made Save As... more intelligent. · Added search for text. · Added sort functions. From V2.0d(2 & 3) · Added macro recorder. · Added more keyboard shortcuts. · Fixed bug in @LINK introduced in 2.0c(4) · Added extra Arexx commands. · Documentation has been spell-checked (ahem!) From V2.0e · Added lots of new Arexx commands. · Added Calculator menu option. · Fixed Arexx, double-quotes problem. · Added Arexx hotlist, auto-execute, and function keys (phew). · Several code optimisations. · Made help async and on its own screen. · Added UNDO command, then fixed the new bug. · Fixed a couple of minor bugs in loading, and the help. · No longer do a 68881 version as there is no need. From V2.0f · Added lots of subtle features. · Added line drawing tools to make worksheets prettier. · A few (miner) bug fixes. That's the major stuff. I suspect there is still stuff out there waiting to be discovered. If you find any more problems, then please contact me. I will fix the problem, and send you the new (fixed) version for your troubles -- please don't suffer in silence. @endnode @node x2 "Install Pointers" Harddisk Installation »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» Use the InstallEasy program to copy EasyCalc 2.0 to anywhere on your harddisk. Then tell me the name and version of the program that caused EasyCalc 2.0 to crash, or just don't use that software again. · If you get a Software Failure then make a note of the number, and what you did to cause it, and tell me. Hopefully, the above is of some use. If after all the above you are still stuck then get in touch quickly so I can help you sort it out. @endnode @node x5 "The EasyCalc Promise" The EasyCalc Promise »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» If for any reason this software does not live upto your expectations, then you can obtain a full refund provided you contact me within one calendar month of receiving your copy of EasyCalc 2.0. Simply, return the disk and say why EasyCalc 2.0 is not for you and I will refund your money. Please note that all refunds are made by cheque, payable to the registered user only. @endnode @node x6 "Who did what?" Credits »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» As with all my software, I owe a lot to many unsung people out there, sadly, I've lost my list of credits that I have slowly been building. However I can mention a couple of people: Nico Francois for the superb ReqTools.library and the tiny ppMore text viewer. Kew=II Software, thanks Keith and Jackie. CBM Amiga, for the best computer and the best operating system ever. CU Amiga for the nice publicity. If you feel you should join this list, then write to me explaining why, and I'll add you to this roll of honour. @endnode @node x7 "Advert for DiskManager 4.0" DiskManager 4.0 Disk cataloger and organiser. Allows those elusive programs on Utilities disk 16 to be found quickly. Keeps track of disk space as well as files, so you can find space for that new BBS download. Amiga Shopper (Britain's premier serious magazine) gave this 9/10 and said "anyone with a large collection of floppies should have DiskManager". This is a major upgrade, see why dozens of users have registered. Features: · Search for free disk space. DiskManagerIII allows you to enter an amount of disk space needed (for that new piece of software) then it finds all the disks with space available. · Complex file searches and tagging. DiskManagerIII makes full use of AmigaDOS wildcards to limit searches, deletes etc to certain files. · Now needs WB2 to run. · DiskManager4.0 has lots of special features, such as the ability to skip .info (icon) files and Amiga system directories like S and DEVS. This prevents the database being cluttered with repeated files. · A full disk label generator is attached to the database. You just pick the disk and files for the label and DiskManager4.0 prints off a custom label. · DiskManager4.0 allows comments to be attached to disks. Keep track of that disk with the dodgy sector! · When adding a disk to the database, DiskManager4.0 will recognise many common file formats and store the file type in the database. No more wondering what xyz.dat is now! · Lists of directories and files that should be skipped from the database are supported. COST: £10 @endnode
