AsimCDFS 3.6 Package  --  June 10th, 1996

· added Italian locale catalogue files.

· MagicWB and NewIcons are now available for the AsimCDFS 
utilities.  Due to space limitations, these are not included on this
install disk.  They can be found on our WWW site at http://www.asimware.com,
on our BBS or on an AmiNet archive.

· the changes file was trimmed to make space.  The Changes from v3.0 to
v3.5 can be found on our WWW site in the technical support area.


AsimCDFS Install 3.6 (30.5.96)

· added installation steps for the NEC 4X4 4-disc ATAPI changer.

· added information screen about the MWB and NewIcons icons.

· installer would not delete old mountlist files in the devs:dosdrivers
directory for Pioneer and Nakamichi multidisc changers.  Now fixed.

· added (noreq) option to the check for the Locale: directory.

· added notice about Intermediate and Expert modes.

· will now free locks when exiting.



AsimCDFS 3.5  -  May 30th, 1996

· fixed problem when computing parent of a PhotoCD or CDDA file using
the AmigaDOS ACTION_PARENT packet.

· added support for the NEC 4X4 ATAPI CD-ROM drive.  This drive must
have the "Ignore LUNs on Open?" flag selected when operating in
separate mode.

· fixed problem with a Rock Ridge disk and a 68000 Amiga system that
caused a crash.

· changed directory detection routine to allow for non-ISO9660 sorted
path tables (directory listings).  This allows for AsimCDFS to be more
tolerant of non-conforming CD-ROM discs.

This >>slightly<< slows down the search process for >>non-existant files<<;
in normal use, it should not affect general performance at all.

· fixed problem when reading CDDA files with Yamaha CDR100 and CDR102
CD-R writers - the software would not restart the audio stream correctly,
resulting in a corrupted audio file.  

· fixed problem when playing Amiga Audio with Yamaha CDR100 and CDR102
CD-R writers.

· fixed problem when reading CDDA files with NEC CD-ROM drives.

· added support for reading CDDA files from Philips CDD2000 or 
HP 4020 CD-R writers.


asimcdfs.device 3.6  --  May 30th, 1996

· added support for NEC PD-1 PD/CD-ROM drive.

· added support for the Toshiba 5401 CD-ROM drive.

· fixed support for Corel discs #29, 34, 100, 135.  They are slightly
different than the standard Corel ProPhoto disc.

· added support for the NEC 4X4 ATAPI CD-ROM drive.

· added support for the NEC 222 CD-ROM drive.

· added support for the Plextor 8Plex CD-ROM drives.

· Raw Sector partitions from mixed-mode discs (audio and data) will now
be sized correctly.  Previous action was to make the Raw_Sectors file
the size of the complete disc, rather than the size of the data track.


asim_atapi.device v1.1  --  May 30th, 1996

· improved error handling.  The asim_atapi.device is now more robust
(I will take that with triple milk and no sugar, please).

· will not allow the regular scsi.device (IDE) to open ATAPI devices.


AsimTunes 3.4  --  June 3rd, 1996

· added an "load_disc" ARexx function that will load in the CD-ROM
tray.  This command accepts no arguments.
