   ¢02 I  think that Streetfighter II, is
 just   about   everybodies  favourite
 game.   Well, its mine any way.  But,
 no  this is not about the game, cause
 it  as  much  bullshit,  as  the film
 Romper  Stomper,  set  in  Footscray.
 Why,  is  Romper  Stomper,  bullshit?
 Well,  its  the  fact that, they dont
 bash  people,  they  use  knives etc.
 Most of the hardcore skinheads, moved
 to Sydney a while, back, and I should
 know,  as  my  cousin, is a skin, and
 members of the gang I'm in are also.
    I'm  sorry  to  tell  you guys out
 there,  but  the  days of learning to
 fight  are  over  unless,  you've got
 heaps  of  mates  with  you,  or your
 training  with a weapon.  If you read
 about  any  gang bashing, ethnic gang
 fights,  or  just  gang  fights,  any
 where  in Melbourne, they usually use
 sticks,   hockey  sticks,  or  garden
 stakes, knives, and may flash guns.
    The  good  thing  is, that most of
 them  have brains, and dont just stab
 someone ¢03( chop chop )¢02, for no reason.
    If     they    see    any    Immos
 ¢03(pretenders)¢02,    westies¢03 (bogans)¢02  or
 someone  they  dont  know or like the
 look  of,  its,  its more fun to bash
 them.
    I,  myself,  am  a  member of UGP,
 which  used  to be 057, the area code
 for  our town.  I joined to get cheap
 clothes,  and fight a bit.  We have a
 few cool skin dudes, but we are not a
 race  orientated  group, even though,
 we  have no Asian people in the gang.
 We  have  dudes from many other races
 in  the  gang,  and  dont just bash a
 certain  type of person, we just like
 getting  heros,  and westies, because
 they piss us off.
    Sometimes,  its  not a fair fight,
 and  we  may  have lots of guys, onto
 only  a  few,  but,  we've  had  some
 pretty  big  smashes, and a few small
 choppies.
    When  057  was  around, we were in
 another   big   Victorian  gang  from
 Melbourne,  who  come up to our city,
 and recruit etc.  We had guys who did
 some   roles   or   chop  chop  stuff
 ¢03(muggings  etc.)¢02,  but  that  sort of
 shit is different in UGP.
    A lot of guys may think that gangs
 in  Australia,  are  small,  but  not
 really,  as  some  cool examples like
 3174, or FBA will show.  I think that
 3174 had about 300-600 members in it,
 and  guys  in many other cities other
 than  Melbourne,  and  I heard from a
 Melbourne  dude,  that while FBA were
 around,  they  had over 1000 members.
 Most  guys  join for pretection.  The
 kind  of protection I mean, will show
 in this prime example.
    A  UGP  member, was walking down a
 street  near  his  home,  when, three
 guys  he  knew,  bashed  him  with  a
 garden  gnome.   Two  days later, The
 three  guys,  were smashed by about 8
 guys  in one of the shopping centres.
 Broken  noses  and  stuff were common
 place.   We had some westies, take us
 on at school, and at Cameron's house.
 (Cameron is 15, and lives by himself,
 on  Oz  study  and a casual job), and
 got us at school, but a couple of the
 bigger  members,  drove  to a hang of
 the  westies, and bashed the shit out
 of them.
    The  leader of UGP, is 19, and the
 youngest, and the most common bashing
 victim, is 14.
    Well,  I  must  finish, by saying,
 that   Victoria,   has   the  highest
 Juvinelle,   and  also  gang  related
 crime   of   any   Australian  state,
 closely followed by Sydney.  The most
 organized   gangs   are   in  Sydney,
 whilest  the gangs in Melbourne, seem
 to  be  more  active.   Then they are
 followed  by  Brisbane  ,as the third
 worst city.
