VOYAGER

       MISSION OF ALL THE TIMES


Distance over a 6 billion miles is now
a  position of Vger 1, and nowadays we
have  a  complete picture on our space
home  - Milky way.  But let's see some
historical  facts.  Two crafts Pioneer
10 and Pioneer 11 were sent from Earth
in  1972  and 1973.  Their mission was
to  photograph Saturn and Jupiter, but
anyway  there  were  preparations  for
another mission and on August, 20 l977
Voyager-2  was  launched  and  16 days
after  Voyager-1  was  also  launched.
Primary   mission  of  Voyager  1  was
searching  the  Titan  the most bigger
Saturn   moon.   And  most  unexpected
thing has happened. Vger move far over
ecliptical  line  and there was no way
reaching  second  mission  objective -
Uranus.   Voyager  probes  are equiped
with  nuclear  power-plant  which  has
enough  energy  until  2900 year.   So
Voyager  position was perfect to leave
his  home  -  Solar  system.   So both
probes  before  they  have  left Solar
system  has  sent many pictures of Io,
Jupiter, ice on Europe, mistic surface
of  Uran's  Miranda,  Neptun's  Triton
etc.  And on 14.  2.  1990.  Voyager-1
send  picture  of  colored  dot's near
Orion,  yes that was our home.  But in
future        no       one       probe
(Magelan,Gallieo,Mars-94,Cassini) will
NOT  leave  Solar  sys,  so  they will
orbite  their  objectives  and  remain
there   forever.    So   what  Voyager
mission  means  for  mankind?  Nothing
but the mission of all the times!
