PALETTE:0223 0779 099b 09a9 3 CEBIT FOR LAMERS by E-NOZ/SPEEDY As a rather newcomer in the scene, I was really looking forward towards the saturday at the CEBIT. I expected the scene and I expected fun, violence and alcohol. I should have known it better before! 2The scene has gotten fucking compatible 1- and that's seemingly the only thing which COMMODORE managed to make compatible in the last years! COMMODORE only had to remove some walls and put in some games to be played on the CD32 instead - like lovely nice children! I was told in former years, sceners tried to fuck the presentation-bunnies at the exhibitions. This year they had conversation about the scene with them! Is that what ya call fun, idiots? Groups like 2SANITY1, 2ALCATRAZ1, 2TRSI 1(the sleeping gods in coma?) and DCS were present still not there as they were soooo damned boring. They did nothing except standing around and the other lamers just stood around and gazed at them. The only group to have real fun and which fucked around was 2INFECT 1(with support by 2OMEN1). They were the loudest, the wildest and the funniest there. And in addition the only ones with an qualified release: The new 2EXOTIC-Ripper update with (believe it or not!) an stupid intro in front of it. 2SPIV/INFECT 1said over the microphone that this scene isn't ready for a group like his and he was right as all were standing there like lambs. 2ANIMATORS 1were as boozed as every year, I guess. Too drunk to even walk right - that's what I call mood! Cool was also 2MR.ROOT/UNION 1who was there as professional reporter for a polish computermagazine! As it turned out that there won't be a party in the evening at all, some sceners (a guy I don't know and 2SMT/INFECT1) managed to create a spontaneous competition at the COMMODORE exhibition place! That was fucking cool at last! COMMODORE managed to sponsor the competition in a hurry (1st place demo-competition = an A1200!) and I expected real cool stuff. What happened? Some fucking idiots had nothing better to do than throwing paper at the speaker and else nothing! They didn't even really fuck all - they only did shitty jokes and threw paper! Hahahaha, that's funny. In the SFX-competition, there were about 10 songs, but only three qualified tunes, which therefore got the prizes. 31st place: SMT/INFECT 1with a tune which in fact - not to say INFECT - is the titletune of a sooncoming Beat'Em-Up-GameOne 32nd place: CHROMAG/DCS 1a really cool module with guitars and stuff. 33rd place: ASSOCIATE OF ARTS 1(= ROKDAZONE/INFECT, DEEJAY JONES/UNLIMITED and SMT/INFECT) who had a real skilled cool demotune there. Too bad only that it had 87 pattern and only 20 got played! They just finished with the intro as the tune got faded out. Hey, 2ROKDAZONE 1ya fool, if ya don't have the time to wait for the results and take the prize, don't participate! Else, there was rubbish and poor (I mean poor) techno-shit. Not worth to be played at all! In the Gfx-competition there was mainly just rubbish. Only cool picture from 2TOM COPPER/ANIMATORS 1and 2BUCKLY/INFECT 1(because of the motive, hehehe), the rest was nothing more than bullshit! And which picture won? 2A rendered INTEL-logo!!! 1You fuckers! This is AMIGA - read it on your computer: A-M-I-G-A. AMIGA! Intel outside, idiots! And rendered! Who would cheer for a rendered picture? Results: 1st: Rendered INTEL-shit by someone from DCS, 2nd: TOM COPPER/ANIMATORS, 3rd: BUCKLY/INFECT. The demo-competition was absolute shit. The only demos I haven't seen before were from 2JETSET 1and 2VISION 1- which therefore won! All the others were released before. 2SANITY tried to deliver 3 demos which were released before1: The stupid second demo from the PARTY III, BOGGLESHIT and the S.C.A.L.A. thingy (which was cool but released before). Even ORIGIN someone tried to put in the competition. Lamers! MARLEY/INFECT could easily have become first with his mini-intro for the EXOTIC-Ripper! Instead, they've let win VISION from protesting against S.C.A.L.A. with JETSET on the second rank! INFECT had a glorious day there and are the only real succeedors from the CEBIT. It seems, they are the new gods, when the others ain't sleeping but dying! If only one group manages to create sum kinda scene feeling at the CEBIT, with all the others just standing around, behaving like children, the German scene must be declared as dead. INFECT now is the king over a dead population! 2Fuck 2those lamers!!!
