Code? No need for that. Music? Shit!!! I be damned if there are any good musical releases lately out. Ya can look at whutcha wanna - it's all the same puke! I mean, where is the cool tunes and all that stuff. I like having cool tunes especially rave and jungle, but what ya hear nowadays is just this 2SuperNao-shit1. This mate got famous for pseudo-fucking a girl as nobody else ever did that, but listen to his tunes. They suck deeply! It's just bangbangbang for nothing. Put a bass into it in endless monotony and that's all. Not a single cool riff or sounds no one ever heard before. Or what about this mothafucker 2Dizzy1. He releases a tune every two years and it's always the same. Improvisating like hell without any brain. Never anything pushing in it. But I don't wanna fuzz about others musics, I just wanna say that no one really knows how to do musics for a demo nowadays. The tunes never fit. Listen to the tune in 2Nexus71 by 2Andromeda1. It never fits the demo except for the very start and the very end. It's a heartless bleeping rubbish without spirit. Euro-pop! Or the rubbish in 2Roots 1by 2Sanity1. Good music should be pumping, attracting, innovative and fit the demo. Or even better: 2The demo has to fit the music as the music undoubtfully is the most important part of a demo. 1Demos are nothing than videos for Amiga-made tunes. We should better see them as what they are. Everyone can nowadays create a demo easily. Take a video-toaster like 2Rebels did and make a animation. Ya need just a A4000 with 16MB and everything is perfect. Then ya must have some fonts that ya can find in any PD-library additionally ya smear some pixels violently on the screen and get backgroundpatterns - and ya have the gfx finished. Now for the music: Ya need a cewl equipment to make the samples and need to know how to use them the right way. Use the soundtrack as boomer and give the people something to look at while being smashed by the tune. 3That's what a demo is about! Too bad there are no real cool musicians out there. The best track I have heard recently was the one from 2DJ MELLOW NOICE/INFECT 1in their 2"DO YOU 2BELIEVE?"1-demo. A real smasher in Techno-ambiente with strange sounds that pushes ones asses up and not just stupid improvisating just to prove one has read some mega-important musicianspapers. I think that's the biggest problem for nowadays scene-musicians. They all want to be so damned important or fashionable that they lost the feeling for what really stuns. One half reads that they have to use ten accords and variations to make an importnat tune so they do it in a demo, forgetting that no one wants to hear bull like this. The other half just replays 2Prodigy 1or 2Haddaway 1and think they have doen something brilliant just by ripping other ones ideas. If one person would do it, that would be fine, but after the tenth 2"Voodoopeople"- or 2"What is love"1-clone it gets a 'little' boring afterall. There are no real producers out there in the scene just wannabe-musicians which they will never be.
