TITLE:I ain't sure who is hiding behind this KillerHawk? PALETTE:0223 0779 099b 09a9 3Whrm, I considered sometimes if to release this, but I guess people have the 3right to know what sceners of other systems think about us. Here a short 3statement from KILLERHAWK/DESTROYERS, a 20 year-old PC-swapper, whom I met at 3the PARTY.III. We had a long discussion and - well - we didn't came near to a 3final agreement afterall. But he promised to drop me a line for this mag 3exclusively and so he did. Of course PC-format, but what do we have X-DOS for? 3Please keep in mind that not every PC-owner must have such an opinion! 3>>> RokDaZone/INFECT <<< 3 THE LAMIGA IS SHIT! by KILLERHAWK/DESTROYERS When the AMIGA was born in 1985, I was the lucky owner of a C64 which was a damned great machine at that time. No such rubbish like loading the DOS from disk and so. Everything worked perfectly on this old machine, 2the C64 remains 2the best homecomputer of all times! Well, my father bought himself a cool PC for work at that time. In the beginning we only had few stuff, but I saw that those machines will outdate the 2LAMIGA 1by far - and I was right! With the 368 that came new on the market, we got a damned cool system. The LAMIGA changed name and - hey! - now, one even had inserted something like a real ROM, whilst the PC-owner was able to have great cards at low prices. When everybody was on 2the A500 with their fuzzy little grafic-abilities1, I got myself graphiccards and acceleration. When the ProTracker was invented, I got myself a 16bit soundblaster. When the A1200 finally came - much too late - on the market, I already had a 468 at 33MHz. Right now I am looking forward to get myself a Pentium somedays, which every dumb LAMIGA-user still calls the 568! It might be true, the PC-scene is small, but it is growing. The better names on the LAMGA already moved over to our side. Just think of 2ANARCHY 1and recently 2MICROFORCE of SANITY1! Please correct me, but I saw damned many LAMIGAners being utterly impressed by the PC demo-competition at the PARTY in Herning. To talk about the graphic-competition: Ok, the LAMIGA graphiccompetition was better, but only, because the LAMIGA-scene still needs graphicians! The real PC-Elite laughs about these attempts as we can easily have any motive we want in all sizes - rendered or digitised! 2Were is the need of those graphicians? 1In games you need cool graphics and those are naturally digitised. Wherefore the paintings in demos? 3What I find the worst about the LAMIGA-scene is that they all copy our ideas! We already did Zoom-rotations in late 1992 and now, the LAMIGAners finally have managed this and put it in every stupid demo from here to Oslo. But the LAMIGA always existed due to the copying. A scene was built, because of the copying of cracked games. The first intros were exact clones from C64-intros and everyone tries to remix the cool C64-tunes. After the C64 broke down, the LAMIGA-scene stagnated and in 1990+1991, there was mere bullshit as I've seen. in 1992, when the PC-scene was active at last, the LAMIGA started to copy it and so, they finally got their engines running again. Isn't it a joke that every LAMIGA-board has a PC-"section" which in fact is the biggest part of that particular board, whilst hardly any PC-board needs an LAMIGA-section? Nowadays, LAMIGANers are so damned proud that SEAQUEST was made on LAMIGAs, but those were machines that had as much in common with the ordinary LAMIGA than a Trabbi with a Rolls Royce! Ok, the LAMIGA managed to kill the C64 and the ATARI ST, but they it lost all to the PC- the real succeedor of the systems. I see this just as a prove for the fact, that the 680X0-row was pure waste, whilst the X68 and now the Pentium are gold! 2The LAMIGA will ever remain a gameconsole - there was really no need for a CD32 2to prove that - and the PC will always remain the machine for professionals.
