What they did:

On  the  8th  of  January  1996,  members of Carnage locked Wade/Eltech,
Wil$h/G0DS/SøC  and  Dooba/SøC  out  of  mailboxes  for EXPRESSING THEIR
OPINION.   These people, among others, commented that Carnage are one of
the  lamest  UK  groups  due  to  their  releasing  of porno slideshows,
CLI-based  packdisks,  games and having deals with PD companies, similar
to that of NFA (one of the decidedly LEAST "scene" groups in the UK).

This  could  spell  the  end  of  the  UK place in the Euroscene if this
continues.   Already  magazines  are  considering  NFA  to  be the scene
authority  on  cracking (anyone seen an NFA crack lately???), and people
flicking through magazines are more likely to consider NFA's productions
to  be  REAL scene products, and most importantly, people who are NEW to
the  scene  are  reading  The  Word  and  believing  that that so-called
magazine IS the UK scene.

Let's stop this crap right now.  If you want the UK scene to carry on as
it is going, ignore the points below...otherwise DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

1. If you mailswap with a member of Carnage, STOP!
2. If you are a member of Carnage, LEAVE!
3. If you are a sysop, BAN ALL Carnage ACCOUNTS!
4. If you are a normal sensible person, IGNORE Carnage! 

These steps are not rash.  Carnage and groups like them are changing the
UK  scene  into a hollow shell of what it once was.  This is NOT a scene
war.   This  is a turning point.  Either the UK scene can carry on as it
is  and  become  devoid  of  parties,  decent  diskmags,  talented scene
members,  or  we  can actively stop the flow of lameness, get some demos
out, get some Euroscene recognition again and STOP MESSING ABOUT!

Feel  free to reply to this message Carnage.  At least you can't lock me
out of my text-editor :)

PS:   This  message isn't to all in Carnage, I'm sure all decent members
will  realise that what their group has done is wrong and sort something
else out!
