|2-Top 10 |2-TV progs By PeX le SeX/QuI Here is my own Top 10 TV programs, but they only include the ones on the box at the present moment in time (being late October 1995). There are several ones that I haven't mentioned that are not being screened at the moment. I will maybe do a more wider base of programs past as well as present in the future, but at the moment they stand as follows: They are not in any particular order, just the 10 favourites. |1-Number One - You've Been Framed Has me in creases everytime I watch. If they could just get rid of the guy inbetween all the clips it will be excellent. Why does is think he is funny? All those cuddly animals and silly people, but can you help but wonder if some of the clips are set-up just for the £250. Either way it is still one of the top TV programs at the moment. |1-Number Two - The Bill A long running classic soap like program. A fine balance of decent scripts, true to life stories, decent characters and nasty villians. Don't you think it's a bit of a co-incidence that they solve everything in half an hour. All those women in uniform as well. A special mention to Susie Croft who is a bit if a babe... |1-Number Three - Eastenders Got to be the best soap ever. Everyone knocks it 'cos it's depressing, but if you ask me, and you have by reading this article it's the best. I haven't missed it for ages, and am gutted when I miss the odd episode. Some real classics of late with Cindy and David Wicks at it behind Ian Beale's back, with Kathy getting pregnant, with Grant and 'Chelle having a kiss in the Vic, excellent, whatever next? |1-Number Four - London's Burning The best drama on the box at the moment. That stunt that cost a million quid at the end of the last series featuring the Gas Factory going bang was just the dog's bollocks. All the characters are really good, with a good sub-plot going on as well as all the flames, blood and mangled metal. Long may it continue... |1-Number Five - Various Star Trek Series This file includes Star Trek - The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and when I get chance The new Voyager series (which starts next week on Sky One). When "The Next Generation" came flowing onto the TV everyone thought that it would not work, at first including me as I was a big fan of the original series, but after getting over the first set of emmotions I realised that it was in fact much superior in special effects with all the new technology, plots as they are much better structured and much better characters. the special effects really make the series a whole lot better, and also the spin-offs that are now in effect, namely Deep Space Nine and Voyager will also, in time become good series in their own right. |1-Number Six - A Question Of Sport Just the best quiz ever!!! I like quizzes and obviously as you will know from my previous articles like sport heavily (that means I am into sport a lot, and not I am into sport and am heavy - although I am) are you confused yet? Back to QoS, a good format, excellent host and bloody good fun to boot. Always make sure I watch it every week. With the obvious talents of both captains with Bill Beaumont's knowledge of a wide range of sports and Ian Botham's charismatic approach they conflict each other perfectly. Add a couple of famous guests from the world of Sport, some topical and relevant questions, and hey presto you have just made the perfect quiz show. |1-Number Seven - Match Of The Day I've got to have my weekly intake of football, as well as Sportsnight, Sky Sports television coverage and Italian Football on Channel 4 on a Sunday and Tuesday. I've got to see what's been happening in the funny old world of football after listening to it on the Saturday afternoon on the radio, or checking every five minutes on the teletext. Good coverage, but for how long is upto Sky I suppose... |1-Number Eight - Casualty The BBC's flagship drama series, and it's still going strong after umpteen years. Always been a favourite of mine, and over the years has got better and better. Not only is the running story line good and solid, but also the more detailed accidents that the Paramedics have to deal with. All that bllod and guts, stress and hassle, paperwork juggling and financial headaches. |1-Number Nine - Baywatch This has to be in every pervs Top 10 TV, so here it is. Pamela Anderson is the obvious one to mention with those two amazing assets of hers (and I don't mean her acting and dress sense). Also all those cleavage shots from the other babes in the cast. Who cares what is, in reality really bad storylines, acting and scripting when there are those cleavage shots...(as Jim Carrey says in "The Mask" - Ooooohhh somebody stop me!!!) Also have you ever noticed that the bikini lines are cut very, very tight, so I recon that they are all shaven ravers as there is no way there is hair there or there would be a few blond pubes poking out, especially when they are coming out of the water, what do you think? Still those cleavage shots... |1-Number Ten - Football Italia programs Italian football is the world's most glamarous in the world. The players that play in the Serie A are mostly international class players. They are paid in excess of a million a year, and are treated as superstars over there. Channel 4 pulled off a major coup in getting it to our screens about 5 years ago. Nowadays there is three programs per week. Gazette Football Italia on Saturday mornings, Football Italia (live game) on Sunday afternoons, and Football Italia Mezzanotte on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Most games shown have two teams riddled with internationals. Teams such as AC Milan can afford to leave players such as Lentini (the world's most expensive player) out of the team such is the strength of those teams. As you can see I like soaps, Sci-Fi, football programs and drama's. Maybe *YOU* would like to agree/disagree with me in future issues, or have one of your own to send to us...
