±41If you have ever seen THE 700 CLUB, or
any  other pro-Christian broadcast for
that matter, you might understand some
of   my   reasons   for  writing  this
article.   If  so,  it  may  also have
struck  you how Christians always seem
to  force  their  beliefs upon others.
Now,  I  realise that this does not go
for  all Christian communities and yet
it is not such an uncommon event as it
may  appear  as  at first glance.  You
might  have seen how various Christian
missionaries    travel    to    remote
locations  of  the  planet in order to
bring their so-called "enlightment" to
the     few     remaining    unspoiled
civilizations on earth.  Upon arriving
they  rapidly  mannage to convert vast
numbers  of people.  Now, one could of
course  say  that they got overwhelmed
by  Christian faith and of course this
happens  too,  but  as  I see it it is
more  likely  our  "advanced"  way  of
living   that  overwhelms  them!   But
consider  this:  Were these people not
perfectly  content  with  their  lives
before   the   arrival  of  "the  true
religion?" Now, if you are the sort of
person  whose roots are deebly founded
in  a  Christian  environment you will
probably say that these people more or
less   didn't   know  what  they  were
missing  and  that their lives were in
fact  unfulfilled,  a  fact which they
would   sooner   or   later   come  to
acknowledge (if not before then on the
day  of  doom!) which brings me to the
very  point  of  this  article  -  The
Christian  arrogance.  Who are they to
say  what  is  right  for every single
person on this planet and what is not?
Why  are  they  so  much  better  than
everybody  else?   Personally  I fully
respect  every  man's  right to his or
her's  own  beliefs  as  long  as they
respect the beliefs of others as well.
That  is the trouble with Christianity
-  Not  only have they declared war on
every  single  religion  known to man,
they've  also  arrogantly claimed that
there  are no other gods than theirs -
the others are just idols or plain and
simply  -  Demons.   Such a display of
arrogance  has  not  been shown by any
other  religion  down through history.
Not  even  the  ancient  Romans  dared
declaring  such  things but let people
keep  their  religions  whenever  they
conquered  a  new providence - As long
as these religions did not represent a
threat  to  their  authority,  a  mere
tactic     move    rather    than    a
disrespectful  one.   To me, religions
are  just different ways of submitting
to a "force" in acknowledgement of the
fact   that   it   is   greater   than
ourselves- None is more right than the
other.  In different terms:  It is not
so  much  the way we do it as the fact
that  we  do it!  What I am getting at
here is that none of us actually knows
who or what this superior force is, so
it  doesn't really matter by what name
we choose to call upon it!  If this is
actually  true,  all  religions should
join  together  (YES!  I know!  I am a
terrible romantic!)

So  the  next time some±42 Christian±41 sect
knocks  at your door try throwing some
of  these  arguments  at  them (you've
probably got some of similar character
!)   Instead   of  just  setting  your
vicious  killer-dog  at  them  as  you
usually do!
