SPOOLER: A simple print spool utility which can be run, and it uses file
	 parameters.
SUMKICK: A small utility which allows the user to modify the checksum on a
	 kickstart disk. Useful only for Amiga 1000 machines.
KEYLOCK: A password protection utility which freezes the keyboard and mouse,
	 until a password is entered.
PTROFF: A version of 'mouse off' which removes the pointer if the mouse has
	not been moved for a certain amount of time.
WBLACE: A utility which enables workbench interlace modes without using
	preferences.
GRAPHICS - PICS: An artwork portfolio by Jod Hagen. A nice series of skull
		 image pictures, which all have been digitised from ceramic
		 models.
SMUSH: A small screen hack which has strange effects on an IFF picture.
AUTOPICS: A script writer which will use your picture displayer and cycle
	  picture files with any particular file extension.
COLOURCUBE: A small utility which enables programmers to claculate HAM ratio
	    values.

QuickFlix:  IFF slideshow and cell animation program. Rev 0.12
MAZEMAN by John James
MAKEANIM:Which can take a series of IFF files and combine them into a single
	 animation file that can be played back with  ShowANIM, or Director
	 and Aegis VideoSeg.  
Nag: Electronic appointment calendar. Nag can use the Amiga's
     voice to 'NAG' (remind) you every 30 seconds until you respond.
RunBack:  is a program that allows you to start another program which is
	  independant of the CLI window. Particularly useful if you want to
	  start a program in you Startup-Sequence and then load the WorkBench
	  closing the initial CLI.  Without RunBack, the original CLI window
	  cannot be closed until the programs Run from that CLI have
	  terminated.
BRUSH2ICON: This program will turn any iff brush or picture into an icon for
	    the WorkBench.
CURSIVE:  This is a program for generating horizontal cursive banners.
	  It's main use is for generating cute signatures for email. 
HERMES' FINANCA   (Version 1.0) This is a useful program that makes it easy
				for you to calculate mortgages, annuities,
				and compound interest.
CALCULA: Evaluates any valid expression involving the 5 supported algebraic
	 functions and the 5 algebraic operations. 
FREE: returns the available free bytes on any storage device that AmigaDos
      sees as a drive.  
SETALERT: 
SPLITICON: Improve on someone elses dual (or action) icon but I haven't seen
	   anything on the PD circuit that will allow you to get at the back
	   or SELECTED half of the icon for editing. Ok.. big deal!! But here
	   it is... a simple hack to take an icon that has been ALTICON'd and
	   make 2 icons out of the single-dual (action) icon.
	   Its use is simple....

TBAG 21

GRAPHICS: CONTURA, brilliant graphical formula display program.
TILES, simple version of the shanghai game. Also included are various IFF
       pictures.
UTILITIES: TXED, smart little text editor which will edit any standard text
	   ASCII file.
BIGSCREEN, converts the standard Amiga screen to a larger area.

TBAG 22

UTILITIES - ICONLAB: This is a program that allows viewing and alteration of
		     icons without the need for running workbench. Includes
		     support for description information.
GT: An Amiga version of the GT terminal emulator program. Features all baud
    and spensions support.
CRUNCH: An old version of programs like Powerpacker. All menu written and
	mouse driven.
NEWCD: A replacement program for the AmigaDOS command CD. All it does, is to
       state what current directory the user in.
BFORMAT: This is a new formatting utility that formats normally unusable
	 disks.
GRAPHICS - SHOWIZ: A great picture display utility which offers the front end
		   production of a slideshow.
QUICKLENS: An assembly language workbench graphics zoom package. It has
	   facilities for X2 and X4 magnification.
KINGS KORNER: A simple solitaire game, it is very quick to play and contains
	      several levels of difficulty.
TABLECLOTH: A great program that loads a picture into the workbench screen.

UTILITIES: CLICKDOS, great CLI controller program for handling files.
QVIEW, a text paging CLI command which allows any files to be displayed.

TBAG 25

GRAPHICS: SUPERVIEW - An IFF display program. Displays pictures of all types,
		      cycling colours, AmigaBasic files and Workbench icons.
DAD - A puzzle program with four different block sizes and nine total blocks.
      The object is to slide the largest block to the upper right corner of
      the square.
WRAP - A small hack to enable your pointer to wrap around the screen.
DIPLOMACY - This is an implementation of the board game.
ELIZA - An artificial intelligence simulation. It bases a structure on
	learning, and develops sentence recognition.
BEZSURF - This produces a bezier surface of revolution. Includes the capacity
	  to mapp IFF image files onto any surface it creates.
FRIENDS - A sprite hack for displaying over your CLI screen.
UTILITIES: TEXTREADER - Allows the user to select various pieces of text, and
			carry out the command lines highlighted.
SAFEBOOT - Stores the boot sectors of your commercial programs, so, if a
	   virus deletes the boot block it can be re-installed with this
	   useful utility.
DEFSYSDISK - This program will re-assign SYS, C, LIBS, FONTS, DEVS, L and S
	     to another system disk. Even if they are already assigned.
LACER - This puts the Amiga output video port into interlaced mode. This is
essential for high quality video taping.
AUTODISKCHANGE - Enables the user run the fastfilesystem on floppy disks.
NOCLICKSTART - This stops your drives from clicking when not in use. Works
only with A1000 machines.

TBAG 26

UTILITIES - SPREAD: A very small different type spreadsheet utility for the
Amiga.
MEMOPAD: A workbench utility which runs in a seperate window on the workbench
	 screen. It stores information of any length/format and it works on a
	 date/time facility.
DWIP: This is a daisywheel IFF printer driver and is intended as a general
      purpose IFF printing utility for graphics dumping on a daisywheel
      printer.
KEYCLICK: This is an audio feedback device for the Amiga. It enables a click
	  noise when the keyboard is pressed.
GRAPHICS - PLOT: A very powerful 3D graphics equation plotting routine
		 program. Produces some very impressive results. All mouse
		 and menu driven, and it is multi-tasking. Includes plenty of
		 example files.
SCROLLBENCH: This will turn Workbench into a low-resolution scrolling screen.
CFLIP: A screen hack which manipulates the current Workbench screen.
SCENERY: A fractal landscape generating program. Uses all random seeds and
	 perspective imagery. This appears to be a fully functional version,
	 but it may only be a public domain demo.

TBAG 27

UTILITIES - DIRK: A useful utility that alters the Workbench colours, as the
		  system is utilised. Includes specifications for chip/fast
		  mem and device activity.
JASK: This is a replacement for the ASK command distributed in the Amiga 1.3
      enhancer pack. Enables movement of the requester and adds extra gadget
      features.
TASKCONTROL: A graphically representive task-handling program. Allows the
	     user to sleep, kill or change priorities of any current or
	     loaded tasks.
GRAPHICS - SORRY: A 4 player computer version of the boarsd game.
RUSH HOUR: A car game where the idea is to drive your car around a maze
	   collecting fuel, and without crashing into the computer car.
SSS: Screen Saving System V1.0. This consists of three different programs to
     grab a snapshot, depending on how difficult the program is to reach.
STRIPES: A colour manipulation program.
ULTRAPAINT: A shareware fully featured art package. Doesn't allow the save
	    feature in this version. Includes full documentation.
PLAYIT: A sample playing utility which only takes up 70k of chip memory at
	any one time.

UTILITIES - MACH II: A mouse accelerator program with hotkeys facilities.
	    Includes all of the best parts of other similar utilities.
DISKSALV: A disk recovery utility for the Amiga file system. Also works with
	  the fast file system. It will attempt to salvage any good file it
	  finds.
NEWZAP: A multi purpose file sector editing utility. It has the appearance of
	a text editor, but it does much more.
AUTOMOUNT: This automatically mounts all devices in the 'devs:mountlist'.
	   Takes exception to all resident partitions.
FIXREQ: A utility to curb the system request priority task handling system.
SHUFFLER: A program that adds a 'backscreen' gadget to program windows.
VIRUSTRAP: A program that A program that checks the startup-sequence files
	   for amendment in case of link viruses.
POPINFO: A small window workbench utility. This displays all device
	 information when selected.
SRT: This installs a wedge into Autorequest for the purpose of replacing
     standard requester text.
GRAPHICS - ANSIPAINT: A painting program for use as a text screen. It can
		      incoporate text into the file as well.
COLORLAB: This is a program that allows study of IFF files. Allows images to
	  be converted to different colour formats, and spare colour
	  registers. Supports HAM mode.
SOUND: A small utility that tries to feed any IFF sound data into the audio
       device. Works in stereo, and can be included as part of the workbench
       screen.
FIVE IN LINE: This is a small version of the connect series of games.
WORKSERK: A small workbench hack that changes the vertical position of
	  workbench strips.
EW: 'Exploding Windows', a utility to make windows and requesters more 
    attractive as they open and close.

GRAPHICS - CONCENTRATION: A small game which uses plate matching to remove a
			  cover from a word.
BLACK BOX: A small game which uses atoms to control a ray, your aim is to
	   find the atoms.
TUNNEL: A weird graphics demo which cycles the screen colours to achieve a
	motion effect.
TOWERS: A game based on the block movement game, where the object is to move
	an orderely pile of blocks from one peg to the other.
15: A slide puzzle type game.
VIDEOPOKER: A small Amiga poker game.
UTILITIES - EDSTARTUP: Small utility to edit what ever startup-sequence is
		       used on the valid DOS device.
SHOWFONT: A handy utility to display all available system fonts.
NOVIRUS: A menu driven virus eradication utility.
ELEMENTS: This is a part of a larger molecular modelling program. Allows
	  alteration over molecular entry. Has effects as well.
BATCH: Handy for executing batch files, and is a useful interface between
       workbench and AmigaDOS.
VIRUSX: A bootblock virus protection utility.
DOSKWIK: Comprises of two programs, which speed DOS access to files. Also
	 enables fileas over 880k to be written to disk.
KV: A small link virus killing utility.
DFC2: A disk copying and formatting utility by Radical Eye Software.
SHOWFONT: A utility to show all avaiable system and disk fonts.

GRAPHICS & MUSIC : FOREVER - A nice little music ditty playable in a
			     multi-tasking environment.
DEMOFX - Another small Workbench music player.
SUNRIDERS - A small sinus scroller and graphics demo.
STEEL PULSE - A large sinus scroller hack which runs over the Workbench
	      screen.
UTILITIES : MYMENU - a utility to enable the user to create their own menus
		     in the Workbench. This saves time as it enables you to
		     run any of the commands stored in seperate drawers.
IM - IconMeister a new point program for creating icons. Designed for making
     icons of all sizes, types and colours. A must for Icon Creators.
DSD - A clock/window type utility that displays all of the relevant
      information as to the status of all system drives. This is the the RAM
      disk. A very handy tool.
ABORTCMD - Useful utility that allows looped tasks or software error tasks to
	   be halted externally. Very useful for developing software.
SMALARM - A multi - time program interrupter which only occupies 25k of chip
	  memory.

GRAPHICS - SHOWIZ: A brilliant picture display utility. Includes fade and
		   metamorphasis features, and covers all screen modes.
WATCHER: A small hack where a pair of eyes follow the mouse pointer.
PATI: A very strange pattern animation demo.
DUGGER: A small piece of background piece.
UTILITIES - ARP: A full version of the ARP 1.3.
BOOTINTRO: A neat little utility which allows your to write your own
	   bootblock intro!
POWERPACKER: An old version of the now commercial Amiga file crunching
	     utility.
LOAN: A mortgage repayment system, calculates all interest rates and relative
      payment schemes.
CLIX: This will execute a file in the 's' directory called 'leftbutton' every
      time the left mouse button is depressed.
ASHMAN: The ARP replacment shell for the Amiga.
CUSTREQ: A small replacement for the 'ASK' CLI command.

GRAPHICS - DAZ: A small file picture display utility.
SCROLL: A small workbench hack that scrolls a colourful message across the
	current workbench screen. Allows alteration of the text message.
SHOWPRINT II: A great picture display and dump utility. Works with all screen
	      modes. There are also a couple of pictures to go with the
	      program.
UTILITIES - ICONMASTER: The definitive icon control and handling utility for
			the Amiga. Allows alteration of icon descriptions.
POWERPACKER V2.2A: Version of the now commercial crunching utility.
POPDIR:  window task that controls directories and checks for link viruses.
TBAR: Hack to change the pattern on the top of workbench windows, in the
      title bar areas.
PROTECTA: Gadget utility that alters the identifiers of any file.
FIXDISK: Trackdisk based utility that alters bad file sectors, and salvages
	 as much information as possible.

GRAPHICS - CLOUD: A fractal cloud generator program. Works on the standard
		  seed principles, and creates some impressive results.
BMP: A multi-tasking sample play utility. Includes some examples to listen
     to. Also in this directory are three great pictures to look at. These
     are future car, cx-1, and star battle.
UTILITIES - DISKVIEW: Small utility to view BAM and DOS tracks on floppy
		      drives.
PPREFS: An updated version of preferences, includes screen features and is
	much easier to use.
MENURUNNER: A titlebar utility that also has many useful file extras.
	    Includes 'install','read' and virus checking.
FLAMKEY: A password protection program that locks up the machine until a
	 password is entered.
AMI3270: Small coms package.

TBAG 34

GRAPHICS - SKYPLAY: A very simple CLI command that will play one or more
		    skypix graphics files.
XIV: A simple slideshow program, works on a timed or mouse button principle.
     Runs from workbench or the CLI.
XIP: A presentation program that works on a variable input basis.
UTILITIES - QED: Very good text editor utility, which features some great
		 utilities and user friendly routines.
ATRTERM: This is a new version which supports X,Y and Zmodem up and
	 downloading. It has a chat buffer, phonebook and capture buffer with
	 password transmission.
DISKOPTI: A file copying program which re-arranges disk blocks so that files
	  are sequentially organised and such load a lot faster.

GRAPHICS - THE FROG: A small multi tasking version of the popular arcade
		     game.
31: A three card version of the game pontoon.
STARS: Workbench hack that displays sprite stars in the background screen.
UTILITIES - WHO: A list utility that displays currently active tasks.
CROSSDOS: A demo of the PC and ST file conversion utility. This is the read
	  only version, which allows files to be converted but not saved.
TY: This is yet another text display program in the lines of the 'Less'
    utility.
KRAMDEN: Latest release of the kramden utilities, includes various features
	 for windows and the shell.
SUPERINFO: Creates a window for constant updating like the AmigaDOS info
	   command.
NEWLOOK: Modifies all of the gadgets in Workbench windows.
LEFTYMOUSE: Converts the mouse for use by left handed Amiga owners. Swops the
	    mouse buttons over.
RULER3: Operns a borderless workbench window in which a ruler is used to
	align text.

		  playability level, and a full version is available for a
		  registration fee.
EMPOROS - A strategy game, where the idea is to gather land and eventually
	  conquer a country.
TREKTRIVIA - A small trivia program revolving around Star Trek.

GRAPHICS : SLOTCARS - A small dodgem car type of game. Has several different
		      types of screens, and can be played by more than a
		      single person.
KLIDE - A very impressive mathematical illustration program. Very fast
	updating and drawing procedures.
SKYPAINT - A simple, easy to use painting package. Includes text facilities.
MOSIAC - Small tile game, where the objective is to place the tiles in
	 ascending order.
UTILITIES : POPUPMENU - Allows selection of different menu options without
			pressing the mouse button. Handy if you run a
			non-commodore mousing system.
MEGAWB - This program dramatically increases the size of your Workbench
	 screen so that it scrolls. Very useful for intense applications,
	 which are in overscan modes.
MUCHMORE - A new text displayer similar to more, but it can open its own
	   screen. It can also scroll text smoothly in proportion to the
	   mouse position.
XCOLOR - Allows the user to change the colours of any current screen, and
	 also to vary the amount of bitplanes. Can be used with HAM and Extra
	 Half Brite mode.
LHARC - Similar to arc and zoo, but it can store several files in one

		   program.
MONITOR II - A nice interlaced picture of various weather states.
DISPLAY - A windowed utility to standard IFF files by means of a DOS
	  selector.
HBALL - Another breakout clone, thirty different levels are featured and the
	game can be mouse controlled.
UTILITIES : MSIZER - A small hack to allow the user to resize a window from
		     any corner. Not very useful, but interesting to sample.
SNAP - A text utility to allow the user to save text commands, and activate
       other text commands by simply clicking them. Saves typing effort.
KV - A link virus detecter and remover which checks files to see if there are
     any non-standard format code structures attached to it, if so, it
     removes them by request.
FLOATICON - Allows operated icons to be independant of any fixed position in
	    a Workbench window. They  automatically float to any open
	    position in the current position.
COPYICONIMAGE - This duplicates a source image to other selected icons, saves
		time utilising '.info' files.
BECOMETOOL - Makes the selected icons into tools.
BECOMEPROJECT - Makes the selected icons into project icons.
VIRUS X - A bootblock virus detector and destroyer. Kills almost all of the
	  most common viruses.
GOOCLOCK - A titlebar clock, which displays current time, free chipmem and
	   the amount of free fastmem.

		      colours available in Hi-Res. Includes two sample
		      picture files.
TDRAW - Allows implication of your own pattern boxes for use in Workbench

TBAR - This small utility allows the user to change the pattern in the title
       bar of all Intuition windows.
ICHING - Version of an ancient chinese fortune telling program, illustrates
	 the Yin Yang destiny. This one uses the yarrow stick method.
TREEFROG - A small animation of a blinking tree frog.
KAP OTHELLO - Great little variant of the popular board game.
UTILITIES: MOUSE COORDS - Handy little menu bar utility which displays the
			  current mouse co-ordinates.
XENOZAP - A new killer for the link file virus 'Xeno'.
TXT2EXE - A small util to convert text files to executables, for use with
	  Lattice C. Requires the full 1.3 ARP library.

		 random seed numbers, re-generable light source. This is a
		 demonstration only, has regenerable light sources. Not
		 usable, purely a self running demo.

	    applications.
PCOPY - A new disk back-up utility, which duplicates floppy disks.
FENSTER - A screen control utility, which allows you to manipulate bitplanes,
	  colours and size control features.
BOLLINTRO - A neat little bob demo, which contains a sinus controller.
TRACKDISPLAY - A utility to display, all available information on track disk
	       devices.
PT - Prints files to a printer, and allows skipping of page breaks and
     control characters.

		    Includes a show animation utility.
ENVELOPRINTER - Allows your Amiga to adapt a printer for printing envelopes.
		It allows a larger degree of customisation. Features

GMAN - A file utility which scans floppy and hard disks for duplicate files.
       Includes partition search features, and is has file recognition
       features.
MISCHIEF - A very strange screen hack which affects current windows, and the

	    window, so that a history list can be made bigger than the
	    current window.

MUTANTS FROM MARS - A droids type game where the object is to get the mutants

ROADROUTE - Demo version of a travelling package, it maps the best travel

STARSTRUCK - Small hack the runs a starfield over the Workbench screen.
WMK - A new virus protection utility, it is based on the KickVectors
      principles.
WHATIS - Small file identifier which tells you what filetype, and style you
	 selected files are.
ZOOM - A mouse accelerating utility.

		 options.

IDLEGAUGE - A small utility which lights the power light as the processor and
	    bus are used for operations.
LHARCA - Very good program to add & extract LHARC files. Includes a good

LVR - A new Link Virus Remover. Smart program to detect and remove link
      viruses.

RM - Enables the user to facilitate the trashcan option from a CLI window.
SETFONT - Useful utility that enables the user to change the current font.

GRAPHICS - STEPZ: A simple board counter puzzle game, where the object is to
		  move your counter from one part of the board to another.
WINTER: Great little window hack which snows on icons in the current window.
UTILITIES - GSHELL: A SID type file hadling utility which will alter AmigaDOS
		    by use of the mouse gadgets.
FLASHDISK: This is a very good floppy disk optimising utility. Features
	   hotkeys, and extra disk drive support.
TRACKSOLVE: A patch to improve the trackdisk.device. Allows the noclick
	    option to be set, and supports a read only status for trackdisk.
	    Will also try to salvage any bad tracks it finds.
VBHI: A demonstration of a very versatile text scrolling utility. Ideal for
      use with genlock system.
REQUESTOR: Small program to replace script files, and is compatible with the
	   ARP system.

		     games. Includes 3D effects, full sound and multi-level
		     options.
PLAYMASTER: A windowing sound utility that can bank samples and then play
	    them in a specific format.
BLOB: Workbench hack that uses sprites to create a blob effect on the screen.
UTILITIES - ISTODAY: A script utility that converts 'typed' weekdays into CLI
		     format and questions the kernal upon this.
VIEWDIR: A replacement DIR command which lists file and directory sizes
	 (useful for file deletion), and displays what the file type is.
SLEEPY: An editor to enable anyone to alter the 'Sleepy' pointer used by
	Workbench, during file access.
FASTBLIT: Blitter speed enhancement utility.
REDATE: This enables directories to have their creation date altered, or
	transferred as they are duplicated.

GRAPHICS - FRACTALS: A very basic mandlebrot set generator. Has extra
		     features for size, speed and appearance.
CRAYONPAINT: A chalk/crayon painting program. Very similar to the spray brush
	     option featured on many of the larger paint packages.
SLATE: An electronic video introduction facility. Very handy tool for headers
       and introduction on videos.
UTILITIES - OSK: Useful software keyboard facility for people who have left
		 their keyboard units elsewhere. Sends all of the keypresses
		 automatically.
KEYMAPED: Allows alteration of AmigaDOS system keymaps. These can be used
	  with the 'setmap' command. Enables the use of long key macros.
MIPS: Test program to check the speed of the on board CPU. Will vary with
      performance set up.
WOODWARD: Brilliant utility which logs what files where opened or closed, and
	  whether for reading or writing. Useful as it keeps tracks of
	  AmigaDOS.

GRAPHICS - RAPS: A strange variant of draughts, where moves can be made in
		 straight lines as well. The object is to reach the opponents
		 side, or take all of their counters. Runs in a multi-tasking
		 environment.
INTUITRACKER: A soundtracker play routine that works in a multi-tasking
	      environment under Workbench and CLI.
A NICE DAY IN THE MAZE: Small 3D maze game.
BATMAN: Great IFF picture of the caped crusader.
BLITTERSAND: Strange colour manipulator. Draws symetrical images. Produces
	     some very impressive colour cycling animations.
UTILITIES - FLYING CLOCK: Great workbench hack that flies a sprite plane
			  across the screen, with a banner clock.
PAU: A small text file animation utility. Works with escape code sequences.
FILEMASTER: A file editor like Newzap of Fedup, which allows you to
	    manipulate bytes of a file.
NDEBTS: A small workbench hack that constantly updates a figure to display
	the current American national debt.
SHOWCARD: A utility which is useful for identifying the auto-config cards
	  installed on Amigas.
