regular floppy disk. Put 40 percent more on a hard drive. The secret?
PowerPacker Pro compacts command files (programs) so they automatically
un-compact and run when you start them in the usual way. It also compacts
text, anims, graphics, etc. Includes five utilities to show and print text
and graphics, play anims, format text to printer and "decrunch" compacted

DOS LAB by Brad Webb and JUMPDISK, $25. A two-disk `bookdisk' whose 24
chapters form a complete course in learning to use AmigaDOS. Interactive:
Read a chapter in one window and type in the commands in another, all on one
screen. Absolute beginners will feel comfortable with this tutorial method. 
We have received more positive response from DOS LAB than any other project
we've undertaken.

ICONLAB 1.3 by Hermes, $20. The most powerful utility you will find for
working with icons. Join and split icons, convert icon to brush and brush
to icon, save icon with any combination of icon data (20 tooltype gadgets
included), draw new icons of any size, draw in screens with old icons of any
size, view icons in 1 to 4 planes, paint icons with a brush cut from the
screen, paint icons pixel by pixel, use palettes to change screen colors,
load an entire fonts directory to use its contents within icons, move text,
change text color, use options for bold, underline and italic, convert HAM
and IFF images to icons, reduce size of images for conversion to icons, crop
images, use coordinates for brush size and text position, save an entire
screen, cut a brush from an image and save it as an icon, load any brush for

Has 48 built-in utility gadgets and 48 more user-definable gadgets. Provides
considerable help to user for the most important archiving functions,
recognizing 14 functions: Arc, Unarc, Listarc, Lharc, Unharc, Listharc, Pak,
Unpak, Listpak, Zoo, Unzoo, Listzoo, Warp, Unwarp. Built-in SHOW routine
that recognizes all IFF pictures, including overscan and brushes. Built-in
font utility. Icon viewer. Play IFF sounds. Catalogue utility allows you to
list and save detailed contents of an entire directory or hard drive
partition. Fast file reader with several menu items. Built-in FORMAT and
DISKCOPY utility. Save the LIST of all files in current directory.
Highlights current directory files contained user-definable pattern. Locates
a file via complete name or string within name. Finds the size of the entire
current path in bytes. FIXASCII menu item eliminates binary characters from
a file to make it pure ASCII. CONFIGURE the system with four colors and 14
drives. FILEINFO gadget allows a LIST/MODIFY of a file's characteristics and
identifies about 40 file types. In addition to LOGG, the disk containing
LOGG also includes three other programs by Hermes: Financa, Tapriska and
Calcula.
