MEGADISC CATALOGUE DISKS   


As I'm sure you know, we have our normal Catalogue disk, which is free to
anyone who wants it, and we have our MD_CAT_II which contains all the older
PD disks which will no longer fit onto our first catalogue. Like the other
disks mentioned below this is not free (normal PD prices apply, ie $3.50 or
$2.50 for subscribers to Megadisc).



                    MISC 10 (FISH AQUARIUM DISK)  

Covering all the Fish disks, with Powerpacked data files -
read the "readmefirst" file on the disk which tells you to get the utilitiy
"PP" going so that the files can be uncrunched on the fly. Thanks to Ken
Simpson for sending this in.

    This is one of the best ideas to come up for a while.  You can easily
  "bait" the fishes, by entering a keyword and letting it scan, or
  entering the program name and locating it in mere seconds.  You can also
  specify a combination of topics, e.g. "Graphics & Sounds" and let it
  list all those related files.  Very well done, helped me to find some
  programs I've always been looking for somewhere in Fish with amazing
  efficiency ! (I found two or three versions of each !)



                            MISC 10B   AQUARIUM_HD


Thanks to Ken Simpson for sending this in, a version of the Aquarium,
compressed by LHARC so that all the data can fit on a single floppy. All
instructions for decrunching are on the disk.

MISC 10 C

                         COMPLETE MEGADISC HD CATALOGUE 

   The complete Megadisc catalogue, both discs, set up to unarchive onto hard
  disk. An iconned script for that purpose is included, as is the LZ
  archiving program. This disk is now so full that you'll have to enter via
  the CLI. Thanks to Paul McLachlan for this one.



   
MISC 10D 

                                  FISHLIST

   This disk, thrown together by Daniel Rutter, contains an enormous
  PowerPacked text file which contains the contents files from every Fish
  disk that ever there was, from 1 to 730. The last 30 disks are taken from
  the Fish listing on this very MEgadisc and are hence backwards, but all
  the rest are in numerical order. I recommend you unpack it and put it on
  your hard disk, and use a fast text editor like CEDPro to search through
  the 1.2 megabytes of uncompressed ASCII. It CAN be used from floppy with
  the help of PP, the PowerPacker Patcher, but you'll need a couple of
  megabytes of RAM. I find this textfile a much simpler way of finding stuff
  than Aquarium. It's not bootable and the list is iconned to display with
  Fullview.
