The docs for St-Modules RIPPER V1.1

What is it?

The St-Modules-RIPPER is a utility that helps you to rip Soundtracker,
Noisetracker, Protracker and Startrekker modules.

How does it work?

Wenn you start the ripper you can chose between 4 different function keys:

F1 - Search
F2 - Save Module
F3 - Play Tune
F4 - Exit

F1 - Search for a song within CHIP MEMORY. While searching for a song you
     will see the screen flashing. If a module is found, the name of the 
     module, the start adress of the module in CHIP MEMORY and the length
     of the module will be displayed. Also being displayed are the instruments
     used with their length. In this version you are STILL not able to save
     the instruments used in the module, perhaps this will be changed in
     later versions of this ripper.


F2 - Save the module found. The module will be saved in the directory 
     ST-00:MODULES so make sure you have a disk in your drive called 
     ST-00 with the directory MODULES on it. As mentioned the file will be
     saved in the directory MODULES under the name mod.<modulename> where
     modulename is the name of the module displayed at the label Tune:


F3 - Play a module that has been found. The playing can be stopped by 
     pressing the LEFT mousebutton. Low Pass filter will be shut off while
     playing a tune.


F4 - Exit the ripper not much to say about this.

History of the St-Modules-RIPPER:

V1.0  First release ripper was only able to rip Soundtracker songs.

V1.01 ALL major bugs were fixed in this version.

V1.1  Ripper is now able to rip Noisetracker, Protracker & Startrekker 
      modules as well.
