PHONE-DIALER.

 Welcome all you phone-freaks to a great and usefull utility for all of
you who have an immense amount of phonenumbers to remember.
 This utility is specially written for you so that you could use your
Amiga and your phone to their full potential.

 At first it looks just like an ordinary database but it has something more.
If you have saved some phonenumbers you can use you Amiga to make the call
for you. (Note: THIS IS NOT A MODEM-PROGRAM.)

 There is only one limitation and that is that you must be connected with
a phoneline that uses the audio method to dial the numbers.

 This is only a pre-release and the finished version will have some more
options installed like a full addres option
                       a delete option
                       a better sorting routine
                       an international countrycode option
                       and lots of other stuff

Of course there is a little price for this gadget but we are trying to keep
this very low so we can offer you the program at the ridiculous price of

What is it ???
--------------
This program helps you to keep all your adresses of swap friends in a phone
book. It is also able to dial a number for you.

-What hardware do I have to buy for that ???
 Well the only thing you need is a computer which must be connected to a
 speaker(s) and you also need a phone. (Ofcourse)


How to use :
------------

- The build in Phone Book:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 (here you can read a describtion about the functions)

LOAD: this simply loads a catalog file (phone book)
SAVE: write your phone book to disk
ADD : add a new person to the book
DEL : delete a person from the book (This erases the actual selected person.)
      to use this function hold down your right mousebutton and then press
      your left mousebutton.

Arrows   : this moves you to the next/previous person
Seek Name: this searches for a name or beginning letter
           when selected your are asked for a name or a part of a name
           when the proggy finds one it asks you to continue the search
           select the YES box to go on OR press the button outside the yes
           box (so you don't have to go to the NO box, that saves some time)

Sort by name: this sorts the persons in alphabetic order. The routine only
              sorts the first letters (YET) but in the next version it will
              use the full name. (If you like the program I will make a 
              better version)
              The routine works pretty fast (200 names in 1.50 s )

- The Dialer:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~

DIAL: this is the best part of the program. To use it take the telephone horn
      and hold it against the speaker. When you select this function the
      computer will wait until you press the right mousebutton, so you have
      time enough to take the horn. When the computer stops beeping then
      listen if the phone is ringing otherwise start again.

Get Nr: copies the phone number of the actual selected person to the dial_nr
        box.

The Dial_Nr Box: just click inside the box and type the desired number.
