Monitor Fix for New AGA Amigas

   Ed: This file is here to alert you to the fact that you can get a disk
  with all the  stuff mentioned here to fix the 1960 monitor as well as
  the 1940/42 monitors on Workbench 3. I'm sure you can find this disk 
  at any CommCare centre or dealer.

   It seems I'm not the only person with one of the new machines that has
  experienced the dreaded right hand shuffle of the display. I know this
  because the big `C' has released a fix for the 1940/1942 monitors.

   So what you say?

   It seems that the fix disk is exactly what it says "1940/1942", ---- not
  "1960" fix.

   For some of us people with a 1960 monitor, the result after the install
  was completed was " you beat the workbench is centered, but what about that
  dirty big black strip down the right hand side of the display? %#&@*****"
  (and a lot more)"

   Well with a little mucking around with the files on the install disk
  (swapping I mean), and a few hours also, I stumbled upon a very simple fix.
  Somebody else might have come across this fix but anyway.....


  1) Double click on the install icon and let it do its bit.
  2) Delete the new monitor drivers that have been installed (nothing else).
  3) Insert your WB3 Storage disk and copy the original Monitor drivers back
  over.
  4) Don't forget to place the drivers you require back to DEVS/Monitors.

   That's it!

   I take no responsibility for this fix, all I can say is "it worked for
  me"!
