Hello Readers,

First I hope 1990 will be a good year for everyone and always remember: you 
make the future and not those political rabbits at the top. You did see 
in 1989 what one man could do, Gorbi made many things possible with his open 
mind to the west and giving people back their value. I hope he gets a chance 
to finish his work to bring the East and West together. For me he is the man 
of the year 1989 and an example for many leaders. 

I am curious what will happen in the East with the Amiga, probably they 
can't afford to buy it but perhaps we can bring you material from Eastern 
Europe in the future......

This is already Issue nr 7 and many people are finally understanding we are
serious with making this magazine because we enjoy many people by bringing 
good utilities,screenshots,music,art and nice articles.

You can see Newsflash as an addition to the normal papermagazines because 
we can offer things they can't do on paper.

I like to thank all people who supported Martyn and me in the last year, I 
personally had a very difficult start because I had to set up my own 
company but I have good hope the Low Budget Software will work and the 
main thing is that we can bring also other kind of software on the market 
and not only games. We like to do some educational material as well but if
our products will be too much pirated we want have a chance. You know you 
can't blame us for high prices because our software will have 64 prices or 
even less so everyone can afford to buy an orginal if he want.

For the people who asked about my brother who was involved in the terrible
acid-tank explosion in Holland ( I mentioned in a earlier editorial) > my 
brother is the only survivor of the men who where working on the roof of 
the (supposed to be empty) blue-acid tank and was heavily injured at that 
time. At the moment he is almost 100% healthy again. 3 people died and 
the company who was responsible for the disaster (PAKTANK) is still trying
to delay the inquiries the authorities are busy with. These people are 
interested in money and not in lives but in the end they will pay the price 
for MURDER!! I hope their is enough justice in Holland to stop this sort 
of business. They didn't do anything for the families except sending flowers!

At last I hope users from countries like Spain,USA,Australia,Canada will 
send in material because I mostly receive material/articles from people 
living in Holland,UK,Germany,Sweden,Norway,Belgium and France.
Also I like to wish my friend Martyn much luck with his company in the UK
(NEWSFLASH UK or N.U.K) after his left of 17Bit Software. I hope he will 
get this time the respect he earns for all his work for Newsflash and 
many PD disks.

I wish you much fun this year with our disks and if you think you can help 
or you have tips to improve them let us KNOW !!!!!
