Addendum to the Sculpt 3D Converter Manual

One recent version of Sculpt 4D adds "CSG" spheres.  These are shown as
triangulated spheres in the Sculpt Tri-View.  They are not translated as
mathematical spheres to other programs, such as Turbo Silver.  They are
translated as triangulated spheres.

The pictures in this drawer are converted objects rendered in a
format other than the one in which they were created.

InterFontPictures drawer

All InterFont images were created by Amiga Artist James M. Shook of 
Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The characters for the fonts used in these pictures were created in the
InterFont Designer.  The text was then converted to Turbo Silver format
using the InterChange system.  The images were ray-traced in Turbo Silver
by Impulse, Inc.


InterFont

InterFont is a new type of font editor.  It lets you create fonts that can
be used in 3D animation and modeling programs, in conjunction with
InterChange and the InterFont Conversion Module.  With InterFont you can
quickly create 3D logos and 3D video titles for animations and ray-tracing.

InterFont creates lines of 3D text automatically.  No more wasting time
aligning individual 3D letters.  Simply type the text you want to turn into
3D objects, and InterFont takes care of the rest.  Automatic generation of
Bold, Italic and Extruded (3D) text.

You create fonts which can be converted to formats used in 3D modeling
programs such as Sculpt 3D, VideoScape 3D, Turbo Silver and Forms in
Flight.  InterFont can also create structured drawings for Gold Disk's
Professional Draw clip art format, for use in Pro Draw and Professional
Page.  Also included is an Aegis Draw Converter for making clip art text
for other desktop publishing and CAD packages.
