(basic reviews) Being one of the avid watchers of Manga on the amiga scene, I have to write some more stuff!! {I{5 Vampire Hunter D {A{9I was looking forward to this video for ages, and it was well worth the wait! The animation was produced and directed by the man who made Fist Of The North Star, and the graphics certainly show it! The plot is quite good, where a vampire hunter has to protect a young girl from all these different vampires...containing loads of blood and gore as the hunter "D" does the killing, with the use of his talking vampire hand! This video is really good, and the plot was quite good and not confusing. However, there was a problem with the english dubbing, but that didn't take away my enjoyment from the video. {6 ***** Stars, this had loads of gore/blood for a 15 film but lasted only for about an hour. This film is well worth the cheap price, and recommended to everyone. {te{I{5 Wicked City {A{9I heard this film was a close rival/beater to Urotsukidoji...so I had to see this film. Cor, was I impressed! The animation was amazing and fast paced and the plot was one which you could understand. A quick summary of the plot: The story is based around these two dark guards who have to protect humans from the dark forces and vice-versa, to stop a war from starting. They have to protect an old man, who has to sign a treaty to stop both sides fighting-as many lives had been lost. However, many assasins try to stop this treaty being signed and the black guards have to stop the assasns-leading to a weird plot and a ending which you couldn't predit....I won't spoil the story for you. This film contains loads of blood/fighting/lots of sex/etc and I would recommend this film to anyone, I predit this film to be one of the best in 1994! {6***** Stars, Amazing and well planned film. 18 only and lasts 81 minutes... get it while you still can! {I{5 3X3 Eyes-Part One. {A{9I switched on this film and was confused! No way should this film be given an 18 certificate! I would give it a PG/15. The main story is about a (young?) girl who has 3 eyes, whilst that extra eye gives her supernatural powers and it is like another spirit takes her over. This girl seeks to be a human, as having 3 eyes she has the special {te{A{
