The main reason for which we considered
writing  this article is that we  think
that it could be  interesting for some-
one out  there to know  something  more
about the Amiga scene here in Italy.
Note that the aim of this report is not
to say  bullshits  about  anyone in our
country but  only a try  to inform  the
foreigners about the situation in Italy
and to try to give  the credits  to all
the cool guys here that are doing a fi-
ne work.
We are sorry for all not mentioned guys
but believe us it's impossible  to know
everyone.

Here are some informations  about those
groups that keep up the scene:


³ITALIAN BAD BOYS:¹
 
Together  with some  other groups  they
started the scene and nowadays they are
for sure  the ²best known  italian group
worldwide¹. They have never been  parti-
culary famous  for their demos, perhaps
because  they  are  more  interested in
friendship than  in  producing  quality
demos, except the wellknown Manga demo.
Lately after some months  they have re-
started publishing their famous funzine
called  "The Bad Tongue"  but  we don't
know anything about future projects. 
They have got divisions in nearly every
country of the globe.
Most known members:
E$g, Dhs, Street Shaman

³THE EVIL FORCES:¹

They 've released only some House-music
disks and some  intros, but the quality
of  these is  more than average. In the
last ten months they released  nothing,
and so  rumours says that they are dead
but  someone told us that  they are now
working for a local private TV.
Most known members:
Mr.Bite, B.a.d.

³ZERO DEFECTS:¹

We are  now just talking about the ²best
italian group¹...  they have released in
the past a  high  number of great demos
with code more than  advanced, compared
to the  standards  of that period.
Unfortunately they have  been  inactive
for a long time, because  they  started
coding games.
There are  rumours about their comeback
in the scene and a forthcoming magazine
but sorry, we have  no  news  from them
yet. Most known members:
Reflex,Terminator,Paranoid.

³DIVINA:¹

This pure elite crew have released some
demos  but they  are ²especially  famous 
for  "Techno Fright" demo¹. Now they are
working for a  new trackmo that will be
out very soon and could be very nice.
Most known members:
Flagman,Storm. 

³RAM JAM:¹
 
This is for sure the ²most active group¹
here in Italy, they 've released in the
past a big amount of nice  music  disks
and some little demos, but  lately they
released  a  two  disks trackmo  called
"Imuzination" that probably  is  one of
the best ever seen here in Italy  and a
funny  Techno-disk  only   for  italian
people. Main editors  together with TEF
of the magazine "TOTAL PANIC", recently
they  kicked the most of foreigns divi-
sions  and many  talented  italian guys
have joined them. Most known members:
Acbs,Executor,Deus.

  
³HALF BRAINS TEAM:¹

This friendly group was not much famous
on the  scene  until they  ²won the demo
competition¹ at the  TRSI-MAJIC 12 party
in Sopron. Before  their  great trackmo
"SUNSTONE"  they   released  only  some
intros and utilities.
Probably they are now working on games.
Most known members:
D.D.T., Mr Madness
   

³GRACE:¹

It is only the Italian  section  of the
wellknown editors of "Scene Lirycs" and
consists of 2 members...  Rod and Virus
(Macno left them recently).   They have
released only some intros, anyway  they
have a cool pack series compiled by one
of the best italian swappers (Virus).

³SKANDAL:¹

This is a new group that consists of ex
Grace members. They  released only some
nice intros but in the future they  are
planning  to release only  few-but-good
demos, we are really looking forward to
see something important from them.

Billy The Kid

³NIGHTFALL:¹

This  one  is for sure  ²one of the best
bbs-groups¹ here in Italy, they released
in  the past some interesting demos and
recently their first Music-Disk.
Most known members:
Xad, Mrc, The Ripper

³GHOSTLY SPREADERS:¹

Their  most  famous  trackmo  is "Total
Shock"  released  in  October 1991, now
their  are  about  to release a sort of
diskmag dedicated to Italian Scene that
is  called  "Italian Directory"   which
will contain a large amount of informa-
tions about all Italian Groups.
Most known menbers:
The Wave, Ted, Yado

³HERESY:¹

A  totally  new  italian crew, which is
really  active in BBS scene but doesn't
seem   much  interested   in  producing
demos. They are  about to release their
first issue of "Italian chart".

Metal Basher

³SKID ROW:¹

The  italian section  is recently  born
and it seems to have good bussines.
Most Known Members:
Exodus
            
³CRYSTAL:¹

It's  formed  by  only one dude, but we
don't know much about him.
Most known members:
Kadaver

³VEGA:¹

This wellknown group is  mainly  famous
for their disk-mag "Freedom Crack", one
of the oldest on the scene.  Their most
important  demo is "Automa", a  trackmo
featuring lots of effects and two  very
nice tunes. Some months  ago  VEGA died
and all members joined ZENITH, the main
reason of their choice, as stated in FC
#10, is that the  Italian  scene is too
lame for them. Most known members:

Least  but  not last we want to explain
the meaning of the  statement "FUCK YOU
ITALIAN SCENE" that we of RAM JAM wrote
on some demos. Our  aim  was to wake up
all freaks in Italy that claim themsel-
ves as  part  of a  group  but that are
sleeping the whole year (Except at SMAU
time).
