³¼Danish Scene report¼ ¹ Written by Photon and Vivaldi of Vixen, and please remember that this report is written from our point of view, so if anyone feels pissed, then it's just too bad, but we will try to remember all, and be as objective as possible! ³Adroit¹: Not a very wellknown or big group yet, but they will surely grow bigger and bigger in the future. Well known members: Traumatic, plus some others we can't remember (This will from here on be refered to as ERROR #1). ³Aero¹: A very big group (Divisions in 3 countries), They have released a lot of demos and intros, the most known demos must be Over dimension, Eddercopper and the Madtro. Well known members: The Master, Gargoyle, Slide and Bionic. Watch out for this group. ³Anarchy¹: Has expanded quite a bit in the last time. Propably the best elitegroup in DK at the time. Biggest products so far, Digital Innovation together with Anarchy UK and SF. Well known members: Icronite, Milkshake, Slash, Sunjohn, Tama and Rush. Expected releases, A musicdisk. ³Arcane¹: A very old quality group, who was the first in the world to release different new routines, like Filled Vectors, Round Vectors a.s.o. They have released many good demos. Well known members: Scot, Tox & Merlin. ³Bacteria¹: A not so well known group. They have not released anything yet, but they are planning on releasing a Trackmo around x-mas time. Bacteria has got modemtraders in Sweden, and I think they have a board or two!. Well known members: Ace, Toastmaster and Smb. ³Bastards¹: Their known as a swappergroup, but they CAN code, which they proved with their nice intro from the Lowlife party. A lot of guys talked shit about these guys, like diskstealing a.s.o., but it doesn't seem to have any connection to reality. Well known members: Fab (ex. Paradox) and Pharao. ³Brainstorm¹: Haven't released anything YET, but expect some quality releases from them in the future when they get their group going. Well known members: The Pride, who you all know through his evolution packs for Flash (Sorry, but here is another ERROR #1!). ³Budbrain¹: They are very well known for their two megademos with the most unusual design, and some viruskillers. Probably we won't hear much from them in the future, as they are busy with gameproducing. Well known members: Psycho, Diablo and Sonet. ³Capital¹: They were the ex. DK division of Shadows, and has released nothing yet, but it will surely come. They are especially known for their quality swapping. Well known members: Chead and the rest too, but again we got an ERROR #1! ³Crionics¹: An all way through quality group with many good releases behind them. Several megademos and many new routines. (Pictrans!). Well known members Saxs, The Spy, Gizwiz and Murphy. ³Crystal¹: They are actually only known for quality cracks, and a couple of good intros, but now alliance design left Quartex to join Crystal, so we can probably expect quite some releases in the future. Well known members: Paleface and Seen (both ex. Rebels). ³Cult¹: A quite known group, with quite a lot of members. have released some intros and some packs and stuff. Well known members are: Kollaps... he he, sorry guys, another Error #1. ³Dexion¹: For sure known to everybody for their legendary megademos coded mainly by Mr. Mega Mind (he has now left the scene), But other cool members are in Dexion too, though they haven't released anything for a loooong time (besides Beyond Justice). They have one of the best danish swappers, Pet. Well known members: Pet, Orbit, Dr. Dolby and Tron. ³Direct¹: A pretty old group in the Danish scene, but they have only managed to release something in the past 6 months, like the demo "Vintertid". Hey guys, we're sorry that we don't know much about you!. Well known members: Droit, Panzerfaust, and one more of them ERROR #1!! ³Dominators¹: A well known group to all who dates back to the C64-time. On amiga, though, they haven't been quite as active. Only a few demos and a musicdisk. Well known members: Zorlac and Roland. (ERROR #1!!). ³Falcons¹: A not so well known group which is actually quite big (Divisions in 5-6 countries). Have released a lot of packs and a musicdisk plus some intros. They are in COOP with Vixen in making an advertisementmag called "Wanted", Support it!!! Well known members: Bannasoft and Fridgoff (ERROR #1). ³Flash Productions¹: You all know them, but they are almost dead, Only Gonzo is left. Known for lots and lots of Packs, Musicdisks, Demos, Intros, etc. etc. Has been one of the biggest groups in DK for several years. Now they have gotten divisions in other countries. Well known member(s): Gonzo! - But ex.members are The Pride, Freagle, Denon, Commando plus many many more. ³Inzzest¹: A very quiet group, and not very well known, but they have released some demos (Family Fun). Nothing more to say about them. Well known members: Qunix, Seth and Wheasel. ³Kefrens¹: The most well known group in Denmark, But after some internal problems, they died. A couple of months later, some ex. Kefrens rebuild Kefrens. They have released a lot of megademos (8!) and a lot of demos. Well known members (today): Laxity, Razmo, R.W.O, S.L.L and Krueger. ³Light¹: A Known group as well, but the standard of their releases have been a big problem for them. Recently a lot of members have left Light (Kollaps, Caveman and Chain). Well known members: Lunatic and Tuborg. ³Majic 12¹ Another division of Majic 12, they have not released anything yet, but they have 5-8 members, and between them there are some really good swappers. Well known members: TFG, Mud, Baby-alf and Quarterman. ³Palace¹: Another well known group (also a division in Sweden), they have released some demos and a music disk. nothing more to say about them, but watch out for this group. Well known members: Caesar, Error #1!!! ³Prologic¹: A very old group too, with many intros and some demos. Also Krueger ran some packseries for them like HipHopPack, PSS-Packs. Have been in COOP with Static Bytes, but died 6 months ago due to internal problems. Now, though, they seem to have been reborn, with members like Dalmar and Trashcan. Best known members from the old Prologic: The One, Tama, Krueger, Hawkeye, TMB Designs plus many more. ³Rebels¹: Now here is one of the old groups too. There ain't much to say about them I guess. They are just cool. A LOT of releases, many good demos and intros, and some foreign divisions. Well known members: Jake, Static, Bozo, Ozone, plus a lot more. ³Rednex¹: A quite new group, with some good demos behind them. But have had a lot of internal problems because of their bad organisation. Are now in a sort of COOP with Cult and Bacteria. Well known members: Slammer, Executioner, Jones and WSA. ³Silents¹: Guess there ain't much to say about these guys either. Everybody know Silents and their good productions like Global Trash, Sound of Silents and a lot of other productions. Have been a little quiet though, after several members left them. They have a very good french division. Well known members: Mikael Balle, Jesper Kyd and The Crux. ³Static Bytes¹: Everybody knows them too, today, especially after their COOP with Prologic (The Amiga Summit Convention) and their musicdisks made by Disco Leif. Also they just resently held a party with Light in DK (Lowlife '91). Well known members: Buck, Estrup, Quackbuster, Cutcreator and Disco Leif. ³Skid Row¹: The Danish division of this huge crackergroup is nothing but importers who sell software. I guess everybody have seen an importnote from Fast Eddie. Have not released anything, and will probably not do it later either. Well known members: Fast Eddie and Zunie. ³Upfront¹: An old C64 group who has went to amiga too. They have only released one megademo so far, The Cool Fridge, which consisted mainly of Plasma. Well Known Members at the time Cool Fridge was released: Einstein, Tech, Metal and Rookie (Sorry, we don't know the memberstatus today!). I guess that we have gotten all the biggest and most important groups into this report, which probably must be the ultimate scene report. If anybody who were missed out, feel like they should have been mentioned, I can only say, SORRY! / It's actually quite a job writing about all the Danish groups and their members, and if you doubt us, try to do it better! ³Photon and Vivaldi Of Vixen.
