³¼My computer life¼ ¹ It all began when I was 7 years. I had seen a console called atari 2600 (with pixels like mountains high) by a friend of mine and I HAD to get such a cool machine myself. After some time I got mine. I had three games and I did not do anything else as playing and playing till I snapped. But those ugly games started to bore after some years (wow, fast ,eh?). One day a friend at my school said he had bought a wonder machine called "Commodore 64". Directly after school I went to his place and checked it out. WOW, what a machine. It had the most beautiful graphics I had ever seen and what a SOUND!! I started to collect money coz again I HAD to get this cool machine. But after some time when I just had collected all the money I needed, we heard the news of some kind of wonder machine which had stereo sound, 4096 colours, 512kb of memory, and a speed as fast as light!!! Some days later my friend had bought this wonder machine called "Amiga". When I checked it out at his place I considered that there was nothing more important for me as getting such a machine myself. Half a year later I got one myself. I did do nothing else as playing games and playing games. But this so called "intros" before the games directly started to fascinate me, made by some guyz called "Red Sector, Vision Factory etc.". After half a year, those games began to bore a little bit. At some computerclub, I found a guy who only liked these "intros" and hated games. I found him a little lame, but I copied some of his disks which only contained intros and demos. When I got home and I loaded the demos, I was shocked by the beauty of this demos and the only thing I wanted was to create such things my own. I started to create them with some introcreators, but it was no fun. Everybody could do this. I also discovered how to change text in a demo, but again, this was no fun. I heard from a friend that a demo was not created with a introcreator but with a programm called "Seka". I started to learn this language, but it was much harder as I thought. Besides, I had no real group. We (Me and some others) decided to create a REAL group. I would be coder and swapper! Coooool! I reacted to lotsa addies in some diskmags, but discovered that almost nobody returned my disks. I only had 5 contact those days. But I didn't give up and replied to more and more addies and some guyz did write back! So I reached the number of 20 contacts. I was still in a lame group called Syntex. It soon began to become really expensive. Then I heard of the news of swapping for free, using the so called port-betaald marks. I started to use it and I wrote 75 addies back at once, coz it costed nothing!! I got only 15 new contacts. I discovered that I was NOTHING but a lamer, since I was in such a LAME group. So I joined a much better crew called The Lords. Now almost everybody replied on my addies, just because I was in a cool group. The Lords died and we formed JUSTICE. But because of internal problems, I left this group and joined DESIRE. I am now still freaking around and not-replying-to-lamers (heheheh). So all you lamers around, IF you guyz want to become cooler, KEEP writing addies and you will get more and more contacts which helps you to join cooler crews. ³¼CPS/DESIRE¼
