³Danish Scene Report ²------------------- ¹ The Danish Amiga-scene has always been quite cool, and perhaps among one of the best scenes in the world. Just from the early days with Warfalcons, BS1, and Trilogy to Kefrens, Rebels, Silents etc. The Danish scene has suffered some damage due to the death of Kefrens, but it will recover for sure. A few words about this scene report. The term "Well known members" may upset somebody, because they're not mentioned. And some unknown dudes is mentioned too. But I've just written the name of the members that came into my mind. So don't cry if you were missed. If you're upset because you were missed (as a group) or because of something I've written, then feel free to contact me. You can call me on 53 94 19 39 (ask for Martin), or write to me at this address: Martin Hojgaard, Gurrebyvej 10, 4920 Sollested..... Please note that every byte written in this text represents my own personal opinion, and NOT the official Rednex opinion! ³Flash Production¹: One of the oldest groups in Denmark. They have made many big demos, and they have some very skilled dudes. But their products lack (in my opinion) quality! They know how to make good demos, so perhaps we'll see something really good from them one day. Well known members: Slash, The Pride, Gonzo, Maestro and more ³Rebels¹: Another old Danish group. They release few products, but it's always QUALITY! It would be nice to see some more products from them. Their Finnish division is more active than the Danes. Well known members: Paleface, Droopy, Static, Jake, Vandal etc. ³The Silents¹: Yet another old 'n' cool Danish group. They've recently struck back with the great demo "Global Trash." They always release very well designed demos. They also have a cool French division. Well known members: Jesper Kyd, Mikael Balle, Sunjohn, Sionic etc. ³Crionics¹: Also a cool old Danish crew. They release some huge demos. They've been silent for some time, but they are perhaps preparing something. Well known members: The Spy, Madonna Freak etc.. ³Triangle 3552¹: And old crew too. They release some demos, and they have a brilliant graphician called Zeeloyd. They are working on some stuff, so we will soon see more releases from them. Well known members: Zeeloyd, Zest, Zark (The 3 Z's) ³Budbrain¹: A group releasing animated megademos. They've recently gaained some new members, so perhaps they'll start releasing coded demos. Well known members: Psycho and Diablo. ³Aero¹: This group has a quality problem. It's a shame, because they are very productive. Their demos have some bugs (textwrites with missing letters), their megademo and a musicdisc had CLI-load. They have many members, but I don't know if they are all capable of anything. Well known members: Gaygoyle,The Master ,Slide.. ³Bastards¹: A team producing cool musicdiscs and intros. They say they are mainly a swappingteam, and they have a division in Finland. Also known for their war with Amaze.(But it's over now) Well known members: Cutter, Wolfman, Bitman, TMT... ³Anarchy¹: Again a division of an English group. Their latest production seems to be brilliant, and they sure know how to make demos Well known members: Icronite, Milkshake, Rush... ³Static Bytes¹: A rather lazy group. They've made a few demos and the great musicdiscs called "DJ Disco Leifs Greatests Hits." They will arrange another party in the autum in Denmark. Well known members: Buck, DJ DiscoLeif, Quackbuster, Timer.. ³Arcane¹: Another old group. They'd been VERY silent for a VERY long time but they released a cool demo in the Spring of 1991, but I haven't seen anything from them since.. Well known members: ?? (Sorry, couldn't remember any) ³Kefrens¹: Yeah. This legend of a group was reborn short time ago. They'll release a come-back demo at the Static Bytes/Light party in Denmark this Autumn. Well known members: Razmo, Krueger ³Falcons¹: A quite new group in Denmark. They've released a few intros, but nothing else. They have divisions in Germany, France and Jordan. Well known members: Bannasoft, Rockbiter, Fridgoff ³Majic 12¹: A division of this big group. They have 10 members in DK, but no coders, so they haven't released anything yet. They have a board too. (2400 BPS) Well known members: Tfg, Babyalf, Mr.Sax (SUX) ³Amaze¹: Another division of a big group. I think they're 5-6 members, but the haven't got any coders. Well known members: Antex, Kvsk, Canix ³Direct¹: I don't know much about this group, but they made a quite nice production called "Andemad" (it's Danish and it means Duck food) Well known members: Panzer, Dr.What. ³Goonies¹: A pure modemtrader group. They released a nice demo a half year ago, but their only democoder left the crew. Well known members: Fix ³Index¹: A new little group. They've released an intro so far, but they're working on a demo. Well known members: Truman & Windom ³Skid Row¹: They have 3 members in Denmark (I think so). I don't think they've released anything, but Fast Eddie is selling abos to MANY people. Well known members: Fast Eddie, Galaxy ³Rednex¹: My own group. A not so old group. Recently reorganized and we're 6 members today (we had 22 members at our peak). Haven't released that much so far Well known members: Slammer, Jones, Airwalk, WSA, Castor ³Palace¹: They are a not-so-old group too. They're cracking, training, and they've also released a good demo called "Pulling the trigger." Well known members: Alf, Drac SORRY! to all the groups I missed! Call me or write to me, and I'll include you in my next scene report. ³By Executioner/Rednex
