‡ by Zinkfloid/ENERGY SCENE TALKS issue 3 by SUBMISSION Mmh, nothing special at all! It starts with a nice loading picture (which is the best part in this low quality mag !) The music is below normal disk mag standard, rather boring and it really kills your nerves after some time listening to it while reading. The code (file loader) is ok but the menu is shit again, very bad to read and really bad for the eyes, font and colours have not been chosen carefully. I do not understand why they did not use the old menu again, it was really better than the new one. The contents coplete the image of this mag, the main-ed must have been pissed while sorting the articles, there is no order, no sense and in addition no really good article. All in all, one of the weakest mags I have seen in the last time. It seems like that the quality from SCENE TALKS declines from issue to issue. Intro: none Music: 3.0 Gfx: 6.0 Code: 6.0 Menu: 3.0 Contnents: 2.0 ------- a total of 4.0 ===== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GRAPEVINE issue 14 by LSD 3 disks strong - that can be only from LSD. or - where you can read 72 hours without break !! Pazza the main editor produces really a phenomenon, always such an amount of articles!! Grapevine # 14 continues the style and tradition which the previous issues have shown. The grafix and clip arts are high quality, there are three music pieces available (but thebest one is that from Bernard Summer!), the code is perfect and the menu is easily to `overlook`, divided into special branches but somehow linked together. This is the way a menu should be designed !! Good font for the eyes and carefully chosen colours complete the strong LSD release. But - the only weak point is:...the articles are not so interesting, however they are uncountable, available in such masses but I think this is the point which must be iproved by Pazza. To do more for the quality of the articles. Not all which contains a conglomeration of sentences is an article !! Anyway.....delicious in its appearance !! Intro: none Gfx: 8.0 Music: 7.0 Code: 9.0 Menu: 10.0 Contents: 6.0 in total: 8.0 --- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AMNESIA issue 9 by ECLIPSE The magazine with the strange design is back to seek out for revenge...What to write about this`opus` by ECLIPSE ? It starts with an AINSI - INTRO - INTRO - PIC - PIC - AINSI - INTRO - yes, no joke !! I have never seen such an introduction for a disk mag but if they have the time for creating - why not !! I´ll honour this work in my way ! GFX are only average, music depends on your taste. The code is fine, it seems to work without any errors or faults. The menu is, to be honestly and subjective very awful, almost impossible to read, the pointer is too fast (negative mark for the code) and the design of the menu is really out of discussuion (negative mark for the main-ed.). Font completes the menu (main-ed will be punished soon ! hehe, hi Polaris !) Articles are average.... To sum up: Push the main-ed. to try harder, give him a lesson in designing and he will fullfil miracles !! Intro: 9.0 (the wide range) GFX: 6.5 Music: 7.0 Code: 7.5 Menu: 2.0 Articles: 6.0 in total: 6.33 ---- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------…
