 ZOP!!! ARON here with another kewl article for all those NECRO METALLERS
 around da fuckin' globe... I'll in those 4 articles test all existing 
 CARCASS cd's I've got, I start as the title says with the REEK OF -
 PUTREFACTION which is their debut album on Earache records. 

 First off on this album with 15 tracks is GENITAL GRINDER, which is an
 instrumental track. Quite slow played the first minute then it goes off
 like a fuckin' hurricane, this is a intro for the next track that is 
 coming and it's called REGURGITATION OF GIBLETS, not so fast track with
 nice passages, too bad it's so short.. Otherwise quite good..

 Next track coming up is MAGGOT COLONY, which has doom sub-vocals and a
 speedy main-vocals which makes it really good, total fuckin'chaos with
 this one, sounds like they're whispering some messages with grindcore
 drums that just hammers through your ears, also a short track..

 PYOSIFIED (ROTTEN TO THE GORE) is one of my favourites on this track.
 It can also be found on the tools of the trade EP which I also test
 later on. Nice track with slow passages, sounds like a garage record !
 Nice track that has everything, and also this -follow down- effects
 on the guitar !! Kewl!!! 

 VOMITED ANAL TRACT is the one for you that comes up.. Goes off fast
 with really strange vocals sounds like they're singing in a beer can,
 or something like that, otherwise nice and fast track.. Nice solo 
 around 1:00 sounds like a chainsaw... 

 We go on with FERMENTING INNARDS, starts quite slow and has a nice
 jingle, slow passage and then some heavy growlings and jingle jingle,
 and repeat.. One of my favourites, also nice lyrics.. KEWL!!
 
 EXCRETED ALIVE (!), is the next one coming up. Fast track with a 
 nice jingle and solo in the end, too bad it's only around a minute.
 
 SUPPURATION, is the next one I'm checking out. Fast track with nice
 effects sounds like some laser beams flying around your head, nice 
 jingle vocallic effect with sub answers, nice "horse-running" stuff
 and other kewl things, also one of the betters.. 

 FOETICIDE is the ninth track coming on this kewl
 cd.. Fast track that I can't say so much about, they sounds quite
 the same those tracks. It has some nice leads and so..but it doesn't
 give any attraction to me..

 FEAST ON DISMEMBERED CARNAGE is the next one.. This one has something really
 kewl, it has a nice jingle with bestallic vocals that makes really
 really wonderful to listen to, also one of the betters ones, not
 so much to say a goodie!!! 

 Track number 11 is coming up, SPLATTERED CAVITIES. Kewl track with a 
 nice slow passage with a bloody gore style, echo effects when they're
 growling kewl.. 

 Next one, PSYCHOPATHOLOGIST. This one goes off in an extremely agressive
 jingle with kewl super fast noicecore style.. A Masterpiece because of
 that nice slow ups with jingles.. Not much to say, a pure goodie!! 

 Number 13 is up, it's called BURNT TO A CRISP. This one is really strange,
 the vocal sounds like a virgin having her first dick, he is really 
 screaming childish but THAT'S only the beginning, then the jingle starts
 which make this to a creamy superb track, also some speedy parts and so on!!

 PUNGENT EXCRUCIATION goes off in the speed of light totally disharmonic
 track, nice passage and drums needs a high volume if you want to like it,
 otherwise a normal track.. 

 OXIDISED RAZOR MASTICATOR, nice crunchy sound in the beginning and then
 fast noicecore, around one minute there's a nice and quite long passage
 which is extremely kewl and then it fades into even more brutallity and
 goes on like that.. Nice but nothing special..

 Last but not least we find MALIGNANT DEFECATION, starts with heavy and
 quite slow drums (to compare with the other tracks..) Then the whole shit
 starts with the speed of ..?? It goes in a totally insane speed.. Kewl
 to listen to but it sounds like the radio is on wrong frequency or something
 like that.. 


 Final: You might have noticed that I'm quite negative to this CD, there
 are many reasons to it, but one is the bad quality of this recording,
 it sounds like rusty tape recording of the early 70's, the tracks are
 short and some leads are almost the same as many others, sure the lyrics
 and jingles, drums and other stuff is really kewl sometimes. This is 
 the worsest cd from CARCASS, I more like the other CDs they've released,
 this is not far from uuuurk, but if you find the Compilation with
 Symphonies of Sickness + Reek of Putrefaction then it's well worth the
 money, I have that one.. (26 tracks, 76:27 minutes of noicecore..)
