‡BIT'N'BYTE - the ADVERTISMENT ----------------------------- Hello everybody ! This is Mosquito/MANITOU typing some words for you !! You might have seen the vote-sheet for our upcoming 'mag' BIT'N'BYTE. This is a new kind of disk-mag and we need your support ! In the last issue of SUICID I published an article with my statement of the increasing number of disk-mags. I told you to support allready existing disk-mags and not to publish your own onces. And now we have our own disk-mag. Sounds a little stupid to some of you, but this isn't my fault ! Our German coder surprised us with an code for a mag, and if there is allready a code, why not use it ? But there is a new idea behind BIT'N'BYTE. We won't publish any articles in it, as long as you don't wish them ! The contents looks like this: NEWS-Section free ADVERTISMENTS CHARTS a CONTATCT-LIST a BBS-LIST a PARTY-File a GALLERY INTERVIEWS REVIEWS & TESTS a CALENDER -FACTS AND NOTHING ELSE !!! We really need your support for another AUSTRIAN scene production. Help us to show that AUSTRIA is not dead ! So, if you are interested in becoming a Co-ed for BIT'N'BYTE contact our WHQ in Austria (the address is in the ad- †1vertisment part of SUICID !) We are especially looking for some modemtraders and SYSops, which help us to build up a good and international BBS-List ! BUT, we do not only need Modem and Phone-freaks, we need also Co-ed's which help us to build up a perfect NEWS-Section, a CALENDER and a GALLERY ! To say it more precise: We need help for everything, to make a REAL good mag. BIT'N'BYTE has got a chance to become a top-mag, because of the new ideas, which are described as followed: ADVERTISMENTS: You are allowed to publish max. 4 advertisments in every issue without supporting BIT'N'BYTE. 3 of them are TXT-adverts (size 40*18 or 80*18) and one is an IFF-advert (lo-res 320*200*16 or med-res 640*200*16) If you send more than 30 news, 2 pics for the gallery, a party text, 5 BBS-Infos or an interview, than you can send another IFF- or TXT Advert. CONTACT-LIST: If you send an advert for BIT'N'BYTE and you add an -c at the end of your advert, we'll put your addy into the contact-list. You can also add an -e for ELITE swapping, a -l for only LEGAL swapping and a -j for joining. If your addy is in the contact list, we'll only delete it, if you wish, otherwise it will be published in every issue !!! BBS-LIST: Here we want to publish the Infos and Numbers of some boards. We need some help here, because we have only one bbs and no modem-trader. The entries should be always up-to-date, so we need some specialist in the modem-trading scene ! Also party-reports are welcomed ! GALLERY: Send us photos of persons, parties, computers, or any kind of interesting objects ! We'll digitice them and publish them in the next issue. If we get enaugh photos wi'll release a special eddition after the 5th issue of BIT'N'BYTE. INTERVIEWS: They should be done with interesting or funky people of the amiga-scene. Also NONsense interviews allowed ! TESTS & REVIEWS : Like in every mag one of our members (our chief personally) will have a look at the latest productions in the scene and he will tell ya how good the latest productions are ! If you think your production is worth to be looked at- send them to our WHQ. We don't care, if you send intros, trackmos, dentros, wentros or whatever. We have a look at the quality and not at the quantity ! CALENDAR: Send us dates worth to be published for the calendar. Now you'll know when is this and when is that party, meeting, conference, birthday, release-date, ... If you like this ideas, but you find that we're worth to publish your articles-let us know, send them and we'll publish them in the second issue of BIT'N'BYTE.
