SLEDGE HAMMER issue 10

I was anxious to see the new Sledge Hammer from the reformed Soc. Brigade team
called ABSOLUTE because this 10th issue is the first written in english.
To say it with one sentence:"It is very wise to have published it in english
and not in hungarian anymore"!

It starts with a nice intro coded by ADT, music by ADT and some gfx by Jaby.
Well, if you know the famous style from ADT I do not have to explain anything.
The music in the mag is nothing special, a typical music which is heard in
a lot of mags. 

The Clip arts, the gfx  and the font are marvelous, this is the way a zine
should go. But the best thing is the code - very easy to handle, logical and
100 % bug free just revolutionary even better than the one from RAW or Mc Disk.


The menu compares ideal with the code, good for the eyes, very easy to find
something.

The articles are great too, Fester does a good editing job, very sympathic,
the language is easily to understand, a really good english, the articles are
actual, interesting sometimes amazing up to strange and funny. Beside RAW the
next disk mag which should be read !!!!

SCENE TALK issue 2

This mag won`t get any marks because the version I got did not run perfectly,
sometimes I can load it, then Guru, or a nice READ/WRITE error and no chance
to repair it.

But anyway I can speak a little bit about it, I have not seen the first issue
but the second is nothing very special at all - rather useless I would say !
Grafix and Sound is average, the menu is ugly, the code does what is expected
from him to do and again it is the low number of articles and the low quality
of the written things and the writers. Again you can see that a good 
presentation is not the guarantee to be succesful. A good tip for Submission:
Stop this mag and help other better zines to survive or the not so good tip:
Try harder !!!!

Ps: A small note - I try to do the tests as objective as possible. There is
no way to give good marks if the group is sympathic or bad ones if not, I
do not take care about this - it is just my honest opinion !!
