Amiga on PC card ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ok folks, here's what I got sofar for those of you who replied instantly on my posting re: Amiga on a PC card. It's a full length Amiga type PIC with all three connectors present (Amiga 100pin/XT/AT) It contains a full Amiga with provisions for 2MB chip and 8 MB fast on the card. The card does contain a floppy interface but not a harddisk interface. It does however contain an LCD connector/driver. AND THIS IS THE BEST NEWS EVER! It should mean that with this card, an ICD Novia or such and an old laptop casing and PSU, I could build me a PORTABLE Amiga. I'm no techie unfortunately, only a software type, so you tech wizards out there: IS THIS DOABLE? The card is called Aminius. There is a companion card that replaces the 68000 with an 68030 + 16MBYTE 32Bits RAM, SCSI controller and PC bridge. There is also a case called the 'Aminius-Slot' which provides the Aminius and also the A500 with A2000 capabilities such as: - Two 86pin MMU slots. - Six 100pin Zorro-II slots. - One video slot. - Six PC/AT slots No prices available yet. I've requested more information but haven't received it yet.
