books published by Pocket and Titan. We now have the titles and index
numbers for books not due out until Feb 1995! Which other mag is this
complete? Hopefully this will help you in showing what is due out and
what to look for. The  guide  now  includes the Audio Novels released
through Simon & Shuster.

1.  GHOST SHIP by Diane Carey
    -------------------------

    1995,  300  years  in  the   past.  A  Russian  aircraft  carrier
    disappears without trace.  Now,  the  present.  Deanna Troi wakes
    from a nightmare sensing  the  crew  of  that  same missing ship.
    Picard must find a way to  communicate with the alien entity that
    caused the disappearance, or  the  Enterprise  and her crew await
    the same fate.


2.  THE PEACEKEEPERS by Gene DeWeese
    --------------------------------

    Beaming aboard a  derelict  spaceship,  Data  and  La  Forge find
    themselves suddenly transported light years away to the middle of
    a deadly conflict. They appear to be on a ship similar to the one
    they just left but  this  one  orbits  an  Earth like planet. The
    inhabitants discovered the advanced weaponary on the ship and use
    this to keep peace on their planet. But the appearance of the two
    Starfleet Officers causes a crisis on the station, a crisis which
    could lead to all out war.


3.  THE CHILDREN OF HAMLIN by Carmen Carter
    ---------------------------------------

    An alien race, the  Chorai,  destroy  and  massacre the adults of
    Federation outpost Hamlin.  All  trace  of  the  children  of the
    outpost is non-existent. Now fifty  years later the Chorai return
    with the Hamlin children aboard  their  craft.  But this time the
    Federation is waiting. The Enterprise is sent to intercept.


4.  SURVIVORS by Jean Lorrah
    ------------------------

    On the fringe of known space  is  the  colony of Treva. From last
    reports  it  was  becoming  eligible   for  membership  into  the
    Federation. On  a  routine  mission,  the  Enterprise  receives a
    distress call from Treva. The colony is  in the midst of a bloody
    revolution. Data and Tasha Yar beam down to investigate. But they
    discover Treva's president wants much  more than Federation help.
    He wants  their  weaponary  and  technology  to  rid  him  of his
    troubles. The price, the lives of Data and Tasha.


5.  STRIKE ZONE by Peter David
    --------------------------

    The Kreel, a warlike alien  race,  stumble upon the most powerful
    weapons ever seen. They use these weapons on their most bitterest
    enemies, the Klingons. Captain  Jean-Luc  Picard  is called in to
    mediate the dispute. The Enterprise will ferry diplomats from the
    two races to the planet of the  super weapons to try and learn of
    the weapons origin and avert a full scale galaxy wide war.


6.  POWER HUNGRY by Howard Weinstein
    --------------------------------

    Sent to deliver emergency famine relief to the planet Thiopa, the
    Enterprise crew discover a  harsh  dictatorship  where the ruling
    power starves its people to remain  in power. Picard is reluctant
    to turn over the rations to  this corrupt government. He must try
    to change the ways  of  the  planet's  rulers before the starving
    populace dies.


7.  MASKS by John Vornholt
    ----------------------

    The Enterprise is sent  to  the  planet  Lorca to open diplomatic
    relations between the planet  and  the  Federation. The people of
    this beautiful world  wear  masks  to  donate  rank  and station.
    Picard and an away team set off  to find the wearer of the Wisdom
    mask, for whomever wears it is the  ruler of all the planet. When
    they lose contact with the Enterprise, Riker heads a search party
    for the missing Captain, unknowing that  it  is all a scheme of a
    madman who wants the Wisdom mask for himself and with it, Lorca.


8.  THE CAPTAIN'S HONOR by David and Daniel Dvorkin
    -----------------------------------------------

    A Series of  hostile  attacks  on  the  planet  Tenara, bring the
    Enterprise and the Centurian to the planet's aid. Captain Sejanus
    of the Centurian  believes  the  only  way  to  stop  the M'dok's
    attacks is to fight  fire  with  fire. Picard believes otherwise.
    The people of Tenara must decide  which path to take. But unknown
    to them   their  fate  has  already  been  decided.  One  of  the
    Centurian's crew plans to provoke war with the M'dok.


9.  A CALL TO DARKNESS by Michael Jan Friedman
    ------------------------------------------

    Discovering a  derelict  Federation  research  ship  orbitting  a
    planet hidden by a vast energy  shield, Picard leads an away team
    to search for the missing  crew.  Disaster  strikes as Picard and
    his team disappear without trace  and  a deadly disease begins to
    ravage the Enterprise crew.


10. A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE by Peter David
    --------------------------------------

    On the planet Paradise, a group of terraformers fall behind their
    schedule. Riker is given temporary  leave  from the Enterprise to
    assist in their project. His replacment on the ship is a volatile
    officer named Stone, whose  ways  begin  to raise questions about
    his judgement. Back on Paradise, Riker  is emboiled in a life and
    death  struggle  on  the  planet's  frozen  landscape,  where  he
    discovers not all the planet's dangers are natural in nature.


11. GULLIVER'S FUGITIVES by Keith Sharee
    ------------------------------------

    Whilst searching for the missing Starship, the U.S.S. Huxley, the
    Enterprise comes across the planet  Rampart, where all fiction is
    banned as being taboo. A  team  from  the planet beams aboard the
    Enterprise to  search  for  contraband  -  fiction.  Finding  the
    Enterprise filled with "evil" a  series  of deadly machines, One-
    eyes, are left on board. On  the  planet's surface the crew fight
    for the life of their Captain.


12. DOOMSDAY WORLD by Carmen Carter, Peter David,
                      Michael Jan Friedman and Robert Greenberger
    -------------------------------------------------------------

    Kirlos, an artificial world that  has  become  home to many races
    including the Federation and the K'vin Hegemony. Data, Geordi and
    Worf beam down  to  the  planet  to  help  an archaeological team
    unearth the planet's wealth  of undiscovered treasures. Relations
    between the Federation and  the  K'vin  become  strained when the
    away  team  are   imprisoned.   Meanwhile   on   Kirlos,  ancient
    underground machinery begins to  stir,  priming the most powerful
    destructive force ever.


13. THE EYES OF THE BEHOLDER by A.C. Crispin
    ----------------------------------------

    After a new trading route is opened, Federation and Klingon ships
    begin to disappear. The  Enterprise  is  sent to investigate. The
    crew discover a vast graveyard  in  space  full of ships of every
    description, including the missing  Federation and Klingon ships.
    At it's centre is an incredibly  huge alien artifact. As the crew
    try to discover  it's  origin,  insanity  hits  the  crew  of the
    Enterprise.


14. EXILES by Howard Weinstein
    --------------------------

    For 300 years the  planets  Alas  and  Etolos  have been the most
    bitter of enemies. Now  disaster  strikes  each  planet and their
    only hope of survival is  dependence  on each other. To negotiate
    peace and begin rescue  efforts,  the  Enterprise  is sent to the
    planets. Some people, however,  do  not  want peace. The ultimate
    revenge begins. A revenge  that  could  bring  destruction to the
    planets and to the Enterprise.


15. FORTUNE'S LIGHT by Michael Jan Friedman
    ---------------------------------------

    Years before his assignment on  the  Enterprise, Riker and Teller
    Conlon were part of  the  team  that  helped bring Dante Maxima-7
    (known by it's people as Imprima)  into the Federation. Now Riker
    and the Enterprise crew  are  sent  to  Dante  to investigate the
    theft of one of  it's  priceless  artifacts, the FORTUNE'S LIGHT.
    Teller Conlon goes missing  and  is  accused  of the theft. Riker
    tries to find the truth about  the theft and the disappearance of
    his friend.


16. CONTAMINATION by John Vornholt
    ------------------------------

    A murderer is on the  loose  aboard  the Enterprise. The crew are
    shocked when noted scientist Lynn Costa is found  murdered in one
    of the ship's science labs. Worf  and Troi set out to investigate
    the crime and soon reveal a dangerous web of deceit, betrayal and
    madness. They find themselves up against  a killer whom murder is
    only the beginning to revenge.


17. BOOGEYMEN by Mel Gilden
    -----------------------

    An old friend of Picard's, leading Exologist, Eric Baldwin, comes
    aboard the Enterprise  asking  Picard  for  his  help. During the
    course of his experiments, Baldwin  has  made many enemies across
    the galaxy, and he can think of  only  one way to safety and that
    is to purge all computer files  of his existence. One of Wesley's
    computer  experiments  begins  to   go   wrong  as  his  Holodeck
    creations, the boogeymen,  begin  to  take  over the Enterprise's
    computer systems and cause chaos throughout the ship.


18. Q-IN-LAW by Peter David
    -----------------------

    The Enterprise is requested to  house  the marriage of two people
    from feuding planets in a  hope  to  bring  peace between the two
    worlds. Delegates  from  the  Federation  worlds  begin  to  beam
    aboard, and one is none  other  than Lwaxana Troi herself. Things
    begin to get worse when Q  turns  up  to  show an interest in the
    wedding procedings, and  ends  up  in  a  close relationship with
    Lwaxana, bestowing her with the power of the Q.


19. PERCHANCE TO DREAM by Howard Weinstein
    --------------------------------------

    On a routine survey mission to  Domarus  4, Data, Troi and Wesley
    are taken captive in their shuttle  by  a race of beings known as
    the Tenirans. When negotiating the  release  of his crew members,
    Picard sees the shuttle  disappears  in  a  blaze  of light. Then
    suddenly Picard disappears in the  same  way and finds himself on
    the planets surface along with  the  captain of the Teniran ship.
    The two must work together  as  one  as  they come across a being
    with the power to change a world or obilterate it.


20. SPARTACUS by T L Mancour
    ------------------------

    The Enterprise answers the  distress  call  of  the ship Freedom,
    belonging to a race known as Vemlans. Only too happy to assist in
    the repairs of the  craft,  the  Enterprise  finds herself in the
    middle of a whole fleet  of  ships  from  Vemlan that tell Picard
    that the Freedom is  crewed  by  slaves  and  are the property of
    Vemlan, and must be returned.  Jerun,  the Captain of the Freedom
    pleads with Picard for their freedom.  But Picard is torn between
    his conscience and the dictates  of  the  Prime Directive. If the
    slaves are not handed over the  fleet of alien ships will destroy
    the Enterprise.


21. CHAINS OF COMMAND by Bill McCay and Eloise Flood
    ------------------------------------------------

    While exploring a group of devastated  Class M worlds in a remote
    sector of space, the Enterprise  crew  are  shocked to discover a
    glacial world populated by human slaves. When the slaves begin to
    revolt against their captors, Picard  and  his crew are forced to
    watch and sympathise with  their  struggle  for freedom. When the
    revolt is a success,  Picard  learns  that  the  slaves and their
    masters were being controlled by  an  alien  culture known as the
    Tseetsk, who learning  of  the  revolt  are  returning to reclaim
    their property. Needing the  help  of  the Enterprise, the former
    slaves capture Captain Picard and  Counsellor  Troi in an attempt
    to force the hand of Riker to help in their new time of need.


22. IMBALANCE By V.E. Mitchell
    --------------------------
    (Sequel to the closing scenes of THE BIG GOODBYE)
    -------------------------------------------------

    When the reclusive race of insectoid beings, the Jarada, begin to
    express  a  desire  to  join   the  Federation,  Picard  and  the
    Enterprise are ordered to negotiate  the exchange of Ambassadors.
    Upon reaching their planet, the  Jarada  begin  to  act in a very
    uncharacteristc friendly manner  as  they  invite  members of the
    crew down to their world. Cmdr. Riker  and his away team are soon
    cut off from the Enterprise,  which  is  suddenly attacked by the
    inhabitants of the planet. Why?  Picard  must find out the reason
    for the attacks and abduction of his crew members before it's too
    late for his ship and his friends on the surface.


23. WAR DRUMS By John Vornholt
    --------------------------

    The planet Selva, a lush  colony  world  settled by a hardy group
    of humans who found the planet  already inhabited by a small gang
    of young Klingons. When violence  erupts  between the two groups,
    Captain Picard and the U.S.S.  Enterprise  are sent in to assist.
    Worf leads a landing party while the Enterprise is called away on
    another mission. Worf and  his  party  find  that old hatreds and
    prejudices between  Humans  and  Klingons  are  revived,  and the
    settlers are out for  blood.  Now  Worf  must  prevent a horrible
    massacre, before all of them fall  prey to Selva's deadly secret,
    and raging fury.


24. NIGHTSHADE By Laurell Hamilton
    ------------------------------

    After 200 hundred years of civil  war the planet Oriana is dying.
    Most of  the  surface  vegetation  is  gone  and  the  air almost
    unbreathable. Now the  2  warring  factions  want  to talk peace.
    Captain  Picard  and  his  crew   are   sent  to  help  with  the
    negotiations. The  Enterprise  is  called  away  on  an emergency
    rescue mission  leaving  Picard,  Worf  and  Troi  behind  on the
    planet. Soon they learn that  the  people  of Oriana would rather
    finish the conflict than talk peace.  Picard is accused of murder
    and placed under  arrest,  leaving  Worf  and  Troi  to prove his
    innocence and carry on the negotiations for peace.


25. GROUNDED by Dave Bishoff
    ------------------------

    While answering a distress call,  the Enterprise becomes infected
    by a mysterious alien life form which begins to fuse and become a
    part of the ship itself. Starfleet has no choice but to order the
    destruction of the Enterprise  before  this  life form can spread
    itself throughout the Federation and  infect not only other ships
    but Starbases and whole planets.  With  his  crew scheduled to be
    split and transfered to other ships,  Picard races to formulate a
    plan to save not only his ship but the Federation as well.


26. THE ROMULAN PRIZE by Simon Hawke
    --------------------------------

    Hermeticus 2 is a planet so shrouded  in secrecy that very few in
    the Federation know of its exsistence.  When a Romulan spy learns
    of its exsistence it becomes the Romulans prime mission to secure
    the planet as one  of  their  own.  On  a  routine  patrol of the
    Neutral Zone  the  Enterprise  comes  across  a  drifting Warbird
    prototype. When investigating, Picard and his crew are drawn into
    a plot that threatens the exsistence of the Federation. With time
    running out, they must stop the Romulan plan before the secret of
    Hermeticus 2 overwhelms them all.


27. GUISES OF THE MIND by Rebecca Neason
    ------------------------------------

    The world of Capulon IV is  finally  ready to join the Federation
    after years of waiting. All that remains is the rulers coronation
    and a routine signing of the  final  treaty. When the crew of the
    Enterprise and  its  passengers  -  a  group  of  religous  women
    dedicated to helping the needs  of  the  downtrodden - arrive for
    the event they  expect  to  find  a  world  willing  and happy to
    receive them. Instead they  encounter  deceit and treachery. Upon
    beaming down to the planet, Picard,  Troi and Mother Veronica are
    drugged and captured. Now they  must  find  a means of escape and
    prevent the coronation. For if  it  happens  the King will become
    omnipotent with the power to not  only destroy the Enterprise but
    all of Capulon IV as well.


28. HERE THERE BE DRAGONS by John Peel
    ----------------------------------

    When Capt. Picard and the crew  of the Enterprise receive news of
    a human planet hidden in the  centre  of an immense stellar cloud
    they immediately set off to investigate. When orbiting the planet
    the crew is shocked to  discover  that  the world is inhabited by
    Knights and  serfs  lifted  right  out  of  Earths  middle  ages.
    Exploiting the  planet  are  a  ruthless  interplanetary  gang of
    trophy hunters  preying  on  the  immense  native dragon-lizards.
    Picard, Data and Ro beam  down  and  are instantly embroiled in a
    web of intrigue and murder. Taken prisoner, the three must devise
    a means of escape and stop  the  hunters from using their ancient
    weapon based on  advanced  technology  capable  of destroying the
    Enterprise.


29. SINS OF COMMISSION by Susan Wright
    ----------------------------------

    When a member of a strange, emotion-casting race is killed aboard
    the Enterprise, all evidence points  to  Lt.  Worf and one of his
    oldest friends. Soon the entire crew  is crippled by an emotional
    onslaught as the surviving aliens  respond  in  anger and pain to
    the  death  of  their  comrade.  Worf  must  overcome  the  alien
    influence in order  to  find  the  true  killer  and  prevent the

    ---------------------------

    Picard  escorts   a   ruthless   businessman   turned  Federation
    Ambassador to a planet  whose  population is being systematically
    enslaved by the Ferengi... and  their hidden masters! The Ferengi
    are warping the minds of the  people of Megara, changing what are
    a hard working honorable people  into vicious xenophobic killers.
    But Picard discovers the hidden  scheme  of the Ferengi's masters
    as it is revealed that they plan  to  use the Megaran people as a

    ---------------------------

    Mysterious space raiders  are  threatening  the joint Federation-
    Klingon colony on the remote planet  Dantar, thus pitting the two
    sides against one another. Just  as  Worf and other cadets arrive
    on Dantar, they find out that the Klingon Empire has sent its own
    team of diplomats including Klingon  cadets.  As the two teams of
    cadets come face to  face,  tension  quickly  mounts as each team
    blame one another for what is happening. Worf begins to face  the
    ultimate challenge. That of  allegiance  to  the Federation or to
    his Klingon heritage.

    Stranded on a remote planet, Worf  and his friends from Starfleet

    arrive theatening to destroy  DS9  unless  the  murderer is given
    over to them for retribution. Now  in  order to save the station,
    Odo must try to destroy a  powerful assassin who maybe Odo's only
    link to his past.
