EqEd, Digita International, announces a Feb 95 release of Wordworth that will support the Picasso graphic board from Villiagetronic. The dutch company MacroSystem GmbH announces DraCo, the first Amiga clone. DraCo is a powerful Graphics and Video Workstation based on the Motorola 68060, Retina BLT over a direct bus with data rates of over 20MB/second and the Amiga Operating System. All system freindly Amiga program that don't requires the custom Amiga chip are compatible with this new workstation. More about this new baby in a later issue of AmyNews. Final Writer version 3.0, the powerful Amiga word processer is now released. The german-based "Vector HARD & SOFT" reports that a new ROM for the "Vector Conn", multi-serial/parallel port is under beta testing. "Vector Conn" is a Zorro-II board for the Amiga that comes with 2 parallels and 4 serial ¶²ports. Milling Jr. announces the release of RenderCalc version 1.46, ImageStudio version 1.2.1 is now released.   The best Directory Utlity program (no matter what platform you are thingking about), DirectoryOpus in an ALL NEW version 5.0, is due to an immediate release during the first weeks of 1995. A demo version 5.0 was shown in the WoA Dec 95 in London. The program is now mainly REWRITEN!   Peter Deane announces the release of the BBS program OzMetro version 2.0 term, the ultimate communication program for the Amiga, is now released in a version 4.2.   LHA v3.0 (the release version is probably named v3.1) An all new version of the wonderful DiskSalv 3.0 version 11.32 (4Q/94), the original Amiga disk recovery tool is now released. The Edge text editor for the Amiga is now available in an all new version 2.0.   ¶²Bruce Smith Books has published yet another Amiga book. This time "Amiga Assembler Inside Guide", ISDN: 1-873308-27-2. The long-awaited book "Connect Your Amiga!" by Dale L. Larson, published by IAM, Intangible Assets Manufacturing, ISBN 1-885876-02-5 is finished. Special discounts are available for early orders. Long-awaited raytracing program, LightWave 3D version 4.0 is now under development. LightWave 3D v4.0 will be priced at $995.95.
