WHAT IS WRONG çddf, faa, afa, aaf, faf, ffa, aff ¹What is wrong with commodore?!!.. ¾--------------------------------- ²As the most of us remember the CBM 64 was a great hit, but it lost it's face after the A500 came to the hardware-stores. Then it went a couple of years and everyone bought the A500 and some also bought the A1000 and A2000. Wow it was a great time! Then commodore thought: these guys are not coming with funds to us anymore, we must do something. A great idea came to mind: We mustproduce another machine, then all the guys must buy one of them. It happened. The A500+ came and with that A3000 and A600 which is still in use. Then they stopped produce A500 so that died out just like the mammoth! Ok it settled down for a while, but after a year or so it happened again: the revolution! They came up with AGA machines (A1200). And ofcause the A4000. What the hell is going on. In five years from now we will have the A9000 AX5 or something like that. They are killing the scene with all of this fantastic hunt for funds. Why produce A500+ and A600? The A500 was good enough! Then they could have jumped right on the A1200without all these middle-steps. Just think about all the people who bought these machines and wake up the day after and realize that it is old-fashion. It is beginning to look like the PC-Scene where they produce a new machine every day! We do not have anything to say, we have to take all this shit. ¶So why buy A1200 today when Commodore makes A12000 Tomorrow? I mean that this is really annoying, and I would like to know why they does it. People are screaming over about the PIRACY killing the scene, but that is not the problem. The problem is that the AMIGA-Scene is out-conquered by economic questions and greed. Ofcouse this might me a little bit of over-reacting, but I am not far away from the truth when I say this: Commodore is destroying the Amigascene in a way that is not good for anyone. Example: If a little company made a game for A500 and released it. Some time after the release was made we changed machine and guess what? Many guys could not use the game because it wouldn't work on their new machine. The little company would be ruined, and if it was my company and none bought my games I would have left for the PC or Amstrad-Scene or something as CRAZY as that. It is just funny that all of this keeps happening, especially after the most of us can see what it is coming to. Maybe many of you guys will say that I am coming with bullshit here but this is my opinion and also several others'. That was it, I hope you will understand what I have been saying here and that you don't get me wrong. ¹ Signed Dr.Doctor
