         ²GENERAL INFORMATION¹

   Under  this  headline  the 42 staff
will  comment  the  last happenings in
the  scene.   Noone  is secure.  Names
will NOT be changed to protect neither
the  innocent  nor  the guilty.  We're
not  put off by big names or top-rated
induviduals.     If    you   want   to
contribute  to  this  42  section then
submit  all  your  material on disk to
the usual address.

   To   start  with  we'll  close  the
racist  debate.   Have  you  all  read
Upstream  #6  and  #7?  We bet you all
have.   It's  high-listed  on  all the
charts.   We  also  bet  you have read
some   anti-racist   or   anti-fascist
articles  in  the  very same magazine.
But,   have   you  read  Sir  Paragons
"Hilarious   Corner"?   We  discovered
several  ³racist¹  "jokes" which negroid
scene   members   definately  wouldn't
laugh  at.  Seems like ²Upstream is off
Balance¹  here,  concerning  the racism
topic.   The  42  staff know neo-nazis
who may have some contributions to Sir
Paragons "Not-So-Hilarious Corner".

   The sixth isuue of ²R.A.W.¹  unveiled
the horrible truth about ³Andromeda¹ and
their organizer.  ³Hydra¹, the Stalin of
the  scene?   Well,  we  in Behind the
scene are not of the same opinion.  We
think  that  Lord  Helmet  must be the
Goebbels  of  the  scene.   You've all
heard  of  Joseph  Goebbels.  The nazi
propagandaminister from the Hitler era
who  said these wise words:  ²"Repeat a
lie  many  times  and it will become a
truth"¹.  These not-so-wise words suits
the R.A.W.  editor very well.  Most of
R.A.W.s readers must have noticed that
Lord  Helmet  & Co.  have broken their
promise   of   not   being  Spaceballs
-friendly which they gave us when they
joined  Spaceballs.  Actually, they've
always been Spaceballs-friendly.

   While  we're talking about the most
excellent  editor  in  the scene, what
does his handle really mean?  You know
it's   taken   from   a  movie  called
Spaceballs, but what some of you might
not  know  is  that  helmet is another
word   for  dickhead  in  the  english
language.       Draw      your     own
conclusions...

   We   also  greet  the  first  cover
artist  in  the  scene.   WOTW/Essence
have   made   some   excellent   cover
versions  of  Lizard/Spaceballs.   RAW
slagged  WOTW  off in its sixth issue.
But, rethink it for a second.  What if
WOTWs  songs  actually are better than
the  originals?  That's not too bad is
it?   Well,  we can put a big question
mark  behind ripping whole patterns or
drumlines   but  using  other  peoples
samples  shouldn't  be  that  bad?  It
would  have  been  very sad if the guy
who  invented  the guitar was the only
one  who  was  allowed  to use it just
because  if  any others eventually did
try  to use it, they would be pestered
with   bad   press.   Of  course,  all
respects  to  Lizard for not like that
he's being copied.

   Once  upon  a  time  there was this
little  coder  called  Dan.   To start
with  he  learned  how  to  code small
intros  and  things like sinescrollers
etc.   Then he became an Anarchist and
as  a  good  anarchist  he didn't care
much about law.  He actually supported
those  vile beings who opposed the law
by removing protection from games.  He
did  in  fact  code  a  cracktro for a
group  of these dreadful beings.  Much
time  passed,  and  more  time passed.
And   then   little   Dan   grew  into
Dan/Lemon..  After many productions he
won the intro- competition and half of
the  scene  with  his 40k-intro at The
Gathering  1993.   In  his  intro  he,
not-so-little  Dan,  wrote  a  message
SKOL/Anthrox and we quote:
   "Why cracking games? Piracy is a
    crime! It's ruining the scene. "

   Well, finally Dan has grown up.
