²¢ >> Continued from last page << ¹¼ Will we see productions made exclusively for machines equipped with the AGA-chipset from Andromeda in the near future? ³ We are preparing an AGA-trackmo due to be released this year. But I don't want to give any further information right now. ¹ Can you tell us about what actually is Andromeda's "codex"? E.g. about packs and leaving the group. Would Hannibal/Ex.Lemon. be allowed to join Andromeda if you knew that he would leave after about 3 months? ³ We decided, with the foundation of Andromeda, that we shouldn't release packs, because we didn't think it told anything about our competence with the Amiga. Besides, who cares if Andromeda doesn't do packs? I don't anyway! When it comes to rules according membership, I can only say that we have never forced anyone to stay in Andromeda, neither have we hunted down members like the ignorant Kingpin obviously seems to think. We never asked members from Absence, Motion and Offence to join us - They asked us! I would like to stress that we would never take in any person, no matter how good he is, if that person turned out to be a true lamer! (Please notice that when I talk about lamers, I do not refer to a person who's knowledge with the Amiga is novice, but to a person who behaves like a moron!) I think I could have shocked many if I gave a list over people who have asked to join Andromeda, but who haven't been let in. Of course I don't want to give that list, because it wouldn't been fair for those who asked. Nevertheless, to answer your question about Hannibal: We don't take in members just because they are famous, like some other groups seem to do. So even though Hannibal is a great coder, he wouldn't be let in if we knew he would leave after only three months. ¹ Does Andromeda have any kind of internal organization except your title as "Organizer"? For instance an internal diskmagazine? ³ We used to have. I wrote an internal letter every now and then, included some new stuff and sent the diskettes to all our members. In addition I used to stay in touch with our members via phone and Internet quite frequently, but the organization in Andromeda has decreased quite much recently - Mainly because I don't have the time nor inspiration to do it. But I think there is still a quite good connection between our members, even though there is no particular organizing. I think that Archmage probably will be in charge of the organizing in the future. ¹ How would you describe Andromeda from the inside now? ³ Quest is currently in the army, but has only four months left. He will get some of his old graphics released in Sequential, and he will furthermore continue in Andromeda as soon as he is dismissed. Jaz is also in the army. He is coding a two diskettes trackmo due to be released later this year. MCS is the third person who has to play war. But he is still doing some swapping when he is home from the camp. Fairfax is working professional, but is still drawing for our productions every now and then. He has also done the titlepicture for Upstream 8, the design for Headline 2, some graphics for a coming demo from Stone Arts, two pictures for Moments (a one-file slideshow from Andromeda), and again he won the graphics competition in a Norwegian computer magazine called Databladet. In addition I know that he is preparing a picture for The Gathering '94. Archmage is drawing a picture for The Gathering '94 as well. He will also do some graphics for Moments. Decker is doing all the graphics for Jaz's trackmo, but he is also doing a competition picture for The Gathering '94. Mr. Hyde is very active! He has done many great routines which will be released in his new demo. Beware, it will be stunning! ²¢ >> Continued next page <<
