  Yes I hate to say it but smilies -> :) are taking over the world.
Anyone who doesn't know what a smilie is well then its a sort of 
sideways face ie eye : nose - and mouth ) put em together and :-)
They are mainly use internet relay channels on chatting facilities on 
bullitin boards where a smilie is put by a piece of text to sort of 
signify the way the person is feeling ie.

           I can't think of anything to write except crap :(

  I think i've done enough now although there are Tons more of these 
crap smilies oh, and by the way I'm sure smilie is spelt smiley, 
too late now can't be bothered to change all that.
