     e1WARNING 9This topic could hurt certain people.  If you see the scene as
     pure business then don't read this article.

     Yep,   it's   Sane/Scorpio...   And  this  time  with  a  story  about
     money-making  in  the  scene.   Of course I am writing about the Amiga
     scene.   Some  guys/girls try to make money out of other people's work
     and  I think that's the most disgusting thing you can do.  For example
     :   Brabham/independant, he sells all kinds of demo's for 5 DM a disk,
     this means that a demo like :  bAlcatraz/Odessey 9would cost b20 DM !  9Of
     course  this is ridiculous.  Everybody in the scene who's actualy in a
     group  will  agree  with me (I think).  But what about diskmags making
     money  ?   I don't think this is cool too, you make those mags for fun
     isn't it ? Why would I pay 10 DM to place an iff-advert in a diskmag ?
     I think  those mags have  to be happy  with all those guys  wanting to
     print an advert in their mag...  It's the chance to show the world how
     famous you are and how terrible the ads-guys want to be in your mag...
     I  am now writing this article for eEternal9, but I really hope this mag
     will  never charge any price to advertise in it.  Because I think it's
     sick  to charge any price for the printing of an advert !  Sorry...  I
     have  told  this to a certain diskmag and the editor told me that they
     had  to charge a price because otherwise they would have to many ads !
     Well  isn't  it  a  wise idea to put all names of the guys who want to
     place  an  advert  in a big box and just pick the number you can place
     out  ?   I think that's the most fair idea !  So my opinion is this...
     The  diskmags  who  give  such  reasons  for charging, give just cheap
     excuses  to make money of the scene...  And money-making is one of the
     main reasons the scene is getting more violent !

     Any  one who disagrees can write an article (for free !) for infant in
     which you tell me to 4fuck off !  1(or someting simmiliar)×
