horror videos seem to be popular lately,
look in the videoshop or at the movies
how many horrormovies are released or
rented. a guy i know and who can know
it (he has made some sort of study about
it) told me that people are getting more
and more interested in the occult and
where the human came from and most of
all,is there are a heaven,a god,a devil
and is outer space inhabited ?

the movies about theses topics are very
widely varied. they range from the omen
to freddy krueger's nightmares series.

it started with the films about space
invaders,like thing (which was remade
some years ago). then we had the
vampire^movies followed by the real
genre of horror movies like recent
stuff... the omen 37 etc.

classic movies were quite cool,a bit
clumsy but great fun to watch. now^
adays the movies are boring and have
quite obvious special effects. they
get more bloodthirsty every movie.
there are some exceptions ofcourse,
but generally speaking it's just you
looking how the next victim will be
slaughtered,will his brains come
through his nose or through his ass
this time...

the computergames. there aren't really
much horrorgames,you can count them
almost on one hand (and certainly the
good ones). we have as one of the first
(if not the first) friday the 13th from
domark software (remember the 64 version
with it's 'cool' digitised screams?).it
was a big mistake to release this pile
of shit. then we have the ghosts and
goblins and it's successor ghousts and
ghouls,both quite good (the first being
much better than the second). they were
arcade^conversions so they don't really
count as horrormovies. then we have
evil dead (palace),zombi (ubisoft) and
night breed (ocean). all were very poor
quality coding and not interesting at
all. last we have the personal night^
mares,not a movieconversion but quite
good. it was an adventure,however,so
perhaps adventures can still be good
when talking about horrormovies??

still to come are titles likeEnightmare
on elm streetA(big license but coded by
the non^professionals^usgold) andEgoreA,
which is very likely to be outrageous,
since it's done by the coders from both
menace and blood money:Edma^design.A

when making a conclusion of this story,i
think it isn't very hard to say that the
conversions of horrormovies are quite a
problem. there hasn't been a real good
try however,so all you horror^addicts
(...disgusting...) there is still a
little chance...
