I'm  a  great fan of Choice for some reason, I have ordered three things
from  them in the past:  My K6-200 CPU, my 4.3Gb Quantum harddisk and my
WinTV  Primio card, all items have been delivered next day by courier as
promised,  the  staff  are  bang on for sales, and you get a neat little
catalogue  every so often.  In all cases, my buys were decided either on
price or on availability, where Choice came out tops.

My  mate Chris bought a Matrox Mystique from them - the very same that I
have in my machine right now - and on initial delivery he found it to be
a  second  hand  card  with  the  letter  of complaint from the original
purchaser  still in the box.  He phoned them up and they arranged a nice
quick replacement.  I have never had this aggro though.

I  originally ordered my CPU via their online ordering facility, only to
phone  up a couple of days later and discover that it wasn't working.  I
was  a little miffed about this because it meant that I had sent my card
details,  but  nobody knows where they've gone.  Thankfully, nothing has
come of if, but it should have been working.

Their  site  is  pretty  ingeneous, because it's nothing more than a big
search  engine.  You click on "Processors" and it lists everything there
that  comes  under  "Processors", generating the listing each time it is
requested instead of having pre-set lists.  Presumably this is linked to
their pricing database.

They  also  have  an online shopping bag, so you can select a few items,
stick  them  in  the  "bag" and come back later to see how much you have
spent, it even calculates the delivery cost, which is damned clever.

I have refrained from ordering online since the first attempt went a bit
wrong,  but that hasn't stopped me from making my second and third order
from  the  company.   Choice  are  damned  cheap and they have a lo-call
number  (and  a FreeFone one somewhere, but the guy on the Lo-Call is so
damned  efficient and friendly!) to order from, the staff are polite and
efficient, and if you've ordered from them before then you don't have to
give your entire address again, just your postcode, they do the rest.
