Well I got the Word done eventually, just a week later than I originally
stated  but  then  I  did  have to mess with the code.  Hopefully I will
never  have  to  do  that again.  I'll leave that to Bootblock as I have
never used Blitz and these days I find C and JAVA more than enough!

CID  should  be done just after this followed by the long awaited update
of  our  home  page.   Then  I'll  probably get started on Word 19 after
working  with  Simon  on the PC demo due out shortly.  Gee the life of a
group  leader.  I'm just glad I bought all that whisky off the back of a
lorry.   Keeps  me  all  warm  and  fuzzy  late at night in front of the
computer.

Cool  seeing  you again Koony.  Six computers is a bit excessive though.
I find 3 a pain in the butt and I'm about to buy a PSX as well!  Nice of
you  to  let  me  go  through your hard drives although it did take me 3
days.   Good  god  Koony, you collect everything!  No worries about this
issue  as  I  got  it covered, hope your final year project gets you the
grade  you  deserve.   I'll  wait  for you at the end of Tomb Raider II.

My  driving isn't that bad is it?  We just made it to the petrol station
as well!  At least it was a weekend away from bordom anyway.  Eon's Ivor
Bigun  tape kept you smiling I noticed.  Dick and Bootblock are on about
a long overdue visit to Grimsby so you fancy tagging along?  On the tour
will  be  all the bus stops where you can goggle women and the best isle
to  be  in  in  Tesco's  to  see fit babes!  Maybe we should invite Dave
Diamond  along  to help him generate new material?  Either way, have fun
in the country and I'll no doubt be flying over that hill into your line
of vision in the near future.

You've  gone  quiet  Rich.  Hard at work or driving around in your flash
car  with alloy wheels?  Being away from home where my dad always worked
on my car has taught me to learn the basics or pay through the nose!  Do
you  know  that  mechanics  charge  about  30  quid  an hour?  There's a
halfords  just  around the corner from me so I can be spotted purchasing
bits  for my car there these days.  People ask me why I can never afford
to upgrade my computers as fast as they do.  I tell them to go buy a car
and see if they can still afford to.

Your  trading has really taken off!  I've doubled my VHS contacts and my
audio  ones but you seem to be doing even better!  I'm promised some new
wares  shortly  which  may  interest  you.   I  could not believe that I
thought Evil Dead II was scarey when I was 15 because I watched 1-3 this
weekend  and  I  found  them  funny!   It's amazing though how the Raimi
family  went  from making the Evil Dead films to Xena and Hercules isn't
it?

I'm thinking maybe the summer will bee the best time to visit you?  I've
still got some holiday time left and I might take it then.  So what will
we be doing/seeing in Grimsby apart from you and Bootblock?

Amazing  that  you  haven't  become bored yet with the 10 emails plus we

Sorry about loosing your alias there for a second.  I've used Girl Power

Message from Bootblock/Carnage...

To: *All* The Word contributors ...

I don't know if Kei mentioned, but TW #19 will be radically different to
it's  current  incarnation  (I  won't  tell  you  why!  :) But Kei might
elsewhere  in this issue) and there's a couple of things you should note
when creating articles:

1. *ONLY* the following characters are allowed in articles/adverts...

    ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz1234567890
    !"$%^&*()-+=\[]{}:;#@<>?,./`'

and  that  is  IT.   If  you  want to use the pound sign, then use the _
(underscore)  character.   So  when an article is displayed that has any
underscores  (Shift and -) in, a £ sterling pound sign will be displayed
instead!

Any  other  characters  that  don't  appear  in  the list above that are
included  in articles, will cut off the rest of the line they appear in,
sorry, it's *not* *my* fault.  If there's anything I could do to rectify
this situation, then I would.

Which  means  don't  send  in any text adverts that has got shitloads of
non-listed  (that  list  above)  characters,  as  it'll  dis-appear when
viewed!  Use "normal" characters INSTEAD.  You have been warned.

Also,  when  using  the  two  bigger fonts ("|1-" and "|2-"), instead of
adding 3 or 7 spaces after them, add 4 or 8, respectivly.
