I know that it has been banned, but I also know somewhere that it is on sale. Basically, if you want a copy, and you live in the Peterborough area (or can travel) then you should drive to Whittlesey Sunday Market where there is a video stall that sells genuine (not pirate) copies for about eight pounds (or possibly even cheaper). The bloke who has the stall has been there for years, so he's not about ot disappear but please note HE DON'T DO REFUNDS! Although you can probably get a replacement out of him if you try. But you'd have to be really sick to want to get it. $fff ------------------- $fddWho is this Dave Diamond character? He seems so depraved and weird that maybe someone should send his address to the producers of Eurotrash. Actually, why doesn't someone do that? Only a couple of years ago I had the ability to write pages and pages on any subject, but just recently I have been writing the worlds shortest articles, and worse, padding them out with the three little dots...there they are again. Is this proof that exams addle the mind? Or have I just got lazy? Answers on a postcard to...damn! At least I've stopped over-using the exclamation marks! $fff ------------------- $fffIsn't is great when good things happen? A couple did to me this week, and they made a pleasant change. What were they? Well, they both occured on the same day. Here's what happened (image goes all wibbly wobbly and fades away) It's 7:30 in the morning. It's cold and raining. Basically, it is January. But wait, what's that I spy out of the corner of my eye? Bloody hell, it's a soaking wet five pound note! I lean closer, and realise it's a tenner. I pick it up...PRAISE BE! It's a twenty pound note! I look around, there's nobody around to have dropped it, so I pick it up. And don't say you would have handed it to the police. No you wouldn't. Anyway, that happened, and twenty minutes later I got home and found that issue 17 of The Word was in the letterbox. I plugged my Amiga in earlier, and the extension cable fused and switched off everything in my room! Now I have to work everything in my room from just four points! For God`s sake, I struggled with eight! When will builders start putting more sockets into rooms! This isn`t the 1930`s, and we don`t all crowd around the radio every evening. I NEED MORE POWER! Ahem. $fff ------------------- $faaIf anyone listens to James Whale on Talk Radio (1053/1089 MW), then you will know that he can be a bit controversial, and he tends to offend people sometimes. What I want to know is, why do these people carry on listening to his shows, when they get offended by him. Apparently a few people keep reporting him to the broadcasting authorities. Isn`t it about time the Mary Whitehouse brigade realised that we don`t all have to bow to their opinions on what we should see and hear over the airwaves, and that no-one forces you to listen to or watch programmes? $fff ------------------- $fbfA few weeks ago I woke up at 6:00 in the morning and saw Geoffrey out of Rainbow presenting a childrens TV show that was not unlike Rainbow - three speaking animals, stories and songs. Keep an eye out for it if you were a fan of the original series of Rainbow (not the terrible new versions), it`s called `Mole In The Hole`. All together now... You`re getting worse than the BBC with all the repeats you`re doing! I`ve definetely seen Kei`s `Smart Life` at least once before, and I`m sure D!ck did that lottery odds article when NFA were still in charge. Or maybe I`m wrong, maybe it was just an omnibus edition... $ff0[You may not be going mad because I keep getting Deja Vu when it comes to people sending in articles and I recheck the last 4 issues just to make sure they were not in them.
