@t6  There's  a  distinct  lack  of frills
with   this  issue  of  Freedom  Crack.
Firstly  there's  no  intro  or loading
picture,  no clipart, and only one font
used  throughout  all the articles.  On
the  plus side though the menu page has
been  much  improved.  The articles are
now   divided   into   clear  sections,
whereas  in  previous  issues  it was a
mere  list, starting with Editorial and
ending with Adverts.  I have one pretty
big  but  not unfounded gripe with this
new  system though, you can't move your
@^







mouse  over  the  menu  and select your
chosen  article,  its numeric two digit
entry  only,  and  you  can't  use  the
numeric  keypad  either,  I  guess they
thought  we  had  all  got an Amiga 600
now?  There are a choice of three tunes
to listen to.

  Well,  I  have  to  say  I was pretty
dissapointed  with the contents of this
issue  of  Freedom  Crack.   There were
only  49 articles, but as quality beats
quantity  in  my  book  so  this didn't

@t6bother  me  too  much.  It was the fact
that  all the articles had been written
about  two  months  or  more before the
magazine was actually released.  If the
magazine   had   been  released  a  lot
earlier  then  I  would have had a much
better  time  reading  them.  There was
some   really   good   stuff,  like  an
interview  with  Facet  and other great
scene stuff.  But when you read Facet's
interview,  you  hear  him  say that he
hopes  he  will  work  for  Core Design
soon,  then you realise just how out of
date  the  articles  have  become since
being written.

  Well,  I may have given Freedom Crack
a  rough  ride this time but the faults
in  this issue are quite excusable, I'm
quite  amazed  that  there  was another
@^
issue  at  all.   The  problems in this
issue  come  mainly  from the fact that
Flippetto quit the scene, then rejoined
and  became  a  member  of  a different
group  (Zenith),  and  during this time
the  input  since  issue nine had dated
somewhat,  in  this  situation  I think
they  have produced an acceptable issue
