@t7,05@^@f06@t7@c- The Gallery Reviews With Facet - @f00@t5Tatataaaa, Facet here on stage to give my honest opinion of the pictures in the gallery.Since I hadn't expected that Stolen Data #10 would be released so soon I hadn't got any pictures and though I didn't had the time I did collect some nice pictures. I think we never had a better gallery quality than this issue's gallery. And I must thank D-Sign, Alcid, Suny, Hof and Zoom for their contributions. Because some guys asked me where I got my ideas/pictures from I will publish some ISBN numbers so you can order Fantasy-art book at your local book- shop! @^@t9 A. D. & Dragons ISBN 0-88038-605-3 A. That is what I call smart. It's the creature from a cartoon-movie called in Holland "Een kleine Zeemeermin" and I forgot how it was called in Germany. Well, I think he could better have used more colors. But it was suppose to be for a demo so it could be nessesary to make it 16 colors. Well, I personally like the picture because I used to have a huge poster of the movie on the wall of my room. The colors are also well picked. To compact my opinion. cute! @^ @f03@t7 'No Japan' by Zoom / Anarchy@f00 @t5This picture was done quite a while ago and was one of the first pictures I saw from Zoom when he joined Anarchy I always thought he wanted it in his slideshow but Conquest sent it to me to put it in the Gallery sooo.... The curves are straight and it looks very smooth. I personally do not like this kind of pic but objectively spoken I think it's quite good. The main fact why I do not like it is because there are to less details. For example, the clothes are too flat. But since that is the style in which the picture is drawn, I must say that it's quite good. This picture shows again Zoom's variation in drawing. @#@t7,05@^@t7 @f03@t7 'Voodoo Chile' by Hof/Silents@f00 @t5Again a great new picture by Elbaz. Better know as Hof/TSL. This picture again represents the special style in which Hof is drawing. That style is equal to the style in the 'SUNKEN' pic of our last GALLERY. It's the sort of 'Dpaint' filling he used in here. I call it like Dpaintfilling, not because you can get a filling like this in Dpaint but it looks a lot like it. Now I'll continue the review.. The only negative remark I have on this piece is the white light reflection on the rightside of the face. It affects the silence in the face. It's like a seperated part of the face. But though that is not so nice in my opinion I must say that I adore the rest of Jimmy's head. It is Jimmy isn't Hof? @^ Drawing a face is one of the most difficult things one can draw on Amiga. That because we see faces every day so we know how they look like. @f03@t7 'Beyond Perfection' by Alcid / Digital@f00 @t5When I first got this picture from a good friend of mine,I looked at it for some time. It's a bit like GIGER. Full of strange things and on every 16*16 pixels you spot something else.I would use other colors but that is a matter of taste. I think the lips of the face are very nice. Also the details of the face are quite nice. The borders at the top and at the bottom are just making this picture finnished. I'm looking forward to see more of this guy. @#@t7,05@^ @t7@f03@t7@c'Squelette Mechant' by Suny/Anarchy@f00@t5 When I got this picture SUNY was a Rebels member. But yesterday I heard that he maybe is coming into Anarchy together with Skynet (also from RBS) so first I want to give those French guys a warm welcome in our great team! Now I'll continue with my review. I don't know who made the original but I guess it was Jeff Easley. This picture is 32 colors and they are well chosen. He used a normal pixel method. The cape of our skelet-hero is really nice. The thing I don't like so much is the candlestick. It looks too flat in my opinion. Though I normally hate skelets, I like this one. I also saw some other stuff from Suny and I must @^ admit that I wasn't able to draw like when I had the age of 15 years! Salut Suny,et toi 'Silversurfer' est magnifique. Tu lettle c'est bon. Great French eh? (Had French for only two years.. and I wasn't good in it) @ta Dont stop now........ @#@t7,05@^@t5@f00Some little information about my small contribution in the gallery. The begin picture includes an animal originally done by Boris and was a sort of comp. between me and Zoom.Look at his animal in his comming slideshow and decide who won!I must repeat that I did it some time ago so it may look a bit crap. Now about the last 'contact' picture. In there you see a bird called...... @t8 'Lepelbekreiger' (Dutch!) @t5And I'm sure I was the first who did a lepelbekreiger on this computer hehe. Further more I'm not going to tell about my things. But, you will be able to see a bunch of graphics of me in 'Legalize it 2' and in the fourth issue of RAW! So you are warned ! hehehe..
