Nah, it's not really, at least not a proper war. Had you going though

This war, is one which will be of benefit, rather than loss.

A price war is currently going against Net access providers Demon

and Global Internet. 

So what does this mean for us, the punter, well, obviously prices

are going down! Yaaaayy!

Demon Internet, famous for their `tenner a month' deal have been beaten.

Global internet has come up with a great package which includes:

32-bit dialer, free access software and a nice browser.

All this for a poultry sum of 89.99 a year! Compared to demons

120 quid, this is quite a bit better. Global also allows unlimited

time to be spent on their system.   

Also, a company called Nethead has just signed a deal with another company

called Energis which will allow Nethead to supply national access

for the price of a local phone call. Groovy eh?

This is sounding better all the time!

The company has also announced plans to drop subscription prices

to 7.99 per month compared to Global Internet's 7.50 per month, unlimited

Nethead are also offering a one-off connection fee for 25 quid, not

Finally, MicroSOFT, soft being the operative word, have decided to charge

punters a high price here in the U.K, more than prices in the U.S.

of course many people will kiss Microsoft's arse and pay those ridiculous

prices and help make `Bill, I'm a ponce and you all know it- Gates'

even richer than he already is.

Microsoft also went on to say their usual thing, which is:

"We are currently watching the competition and are constantly

reviewing our pricing, though we don't have anything to announce just yet"

Anyway, sensible people out their should go for Demon or Global Internet,

but check out other service's prices as they will be crashing down too!
